so probably those novels are only a kinda way to justify all bukitten we have seen in the last chapter and in the movie. In Kakashi's they will give a justification for all that sudden tech asspull. So in that Sakura's, they will give the love story for SS that his fandom has always desired.

Man, I had a satisfying read.

After absorbing the whole shock about those latest weeks, I finally took some time to read the Japanese reaction about the same.

And man. I loved reading their reaction towards SasuSaku.

It was glorious man. Glorious.

Mind you, all of them coming from neutral threads, like talking about the last chapter, talking about the movie and even one talking about NaruHina.

Their reactions, I'd say 95% are all negative.

Remember Kishi's awe-inspiring words a few years previously? Who knows what he might have been attempting to code and express back then. My suspicions rest in the belief that he was still intent on creating a proper finale that's coincident with the direction this manga was being steered towards before intervention or epiphany made him reconsider. Instead of remaining on the side of the angels he bribed and flaunted his soul to the devil for some extra money and to appeal to the masses frothing at the mouth for an otaku-inspired ending like rabid animals.  

When I read that i faced palmed myself so hard.

In reality what he meant is: "I'll write a lot of kitten and contradicts every single thing that I have ever written and I'll sleep with a ton of money tonight".

 

 

And honestly two pages won't do much. It's not going to do justice like how Bioware did the alternate ending to Mass Effect 3. It helped but not a lot. In the end, it's eh, but at least they tried to add so many in extra what 10 minutes. Not to mention, it didn't leave too much open or have a disappointed closure.

So basically here, I expect nothing good or satisfying coming out of it. In the end, it's going to be more lies that made it try to work but much like The Last, it comes off very forced and very phoned in. I have no faith in the extra two pages because for all we know, it's just some other characters in their meanwhile position. Not interested after the horrible end to the overall arc, let alone the plot. Everything is ruined and really, the only way to fix it is change it, not alternate it.

Here's the thing even Bioware failed with the extend cut DLC but even though it didn't actually fix anything and it made things worse. It never kittened the entire story.

Wow. What a terrible thing to say about your main character. To literally call him a plot device, not a plot driver. Naruto's single purpose was to bring Sasuke back? Not only did Kishi ruin Naruto's character, he just said that he wasn't the main character anymore. This man is the epitome of a disgrace. He should be more than ashamed as a writer, I absolutely will never touch a work by him again. He destroyed an entire series, characters included, due to stupidity. I hope SP is proud, they turned a once good series into a burning pile of horse kitten, and not even the writer cares.

I'll just stick to fanfic where Naruto is the main character, Sakura is the heroine, both of their characters are intact and resemble my Naruto and Sakura, where Hinata is as irrelevant as she always was, where Sasuke gets his ass whooped like he deserves and is not the focus of the story, as he never should have been. Both he and Hinata destroyed this manga, what a disgrace.

This series was never about what Naruto struggled to achieve, it was about Sasuke attaining what he neither earned nor deserved.

 

 

it really does make sense now. it would explain why we have sasuke narrating in the end instead of naruto. so not only do we have confirmation of sakura not being the heroine, we now have confirmation of naruto not being the protagonist.

Yup. This is why Sasuke gets the closing lines. It explains why the Uchiha get all the backstory. And it explains why all the ills of the Uchiha are constantly justified and explained away.
