But Kishi makes sure to destroy it all in part 2.

 

Part 2 NH reeks of NTR, which is why I can't understand why people still likes it.

We all say that this is a Shonen manga and romance takes a back seat, but for a Shonen this manga really did push more drama than the average one I have seen.

 

It is the other way around to me. This shonen manga pushed less drama-related romance than the average one that I have read.

She isn't super duper expressive either. lel

 

Kishi should just have brushed NH under a rug, leaving it as some sort of shallow idole-type crush, and use the little panel time Hinata get making up with her dad and chilling with Shino and Neji.

 

I still want her dad to pat her on the head and tell her he's proud.;_; not that hopeless romance crap. naruto has enough worshippers as it is.

Or he should give up on drama and love triangle and everlasting one-sided love. Maybe it would be more sufferable this way.

Naruto looking at Sakura/Kakashi , Sakura at Sasuke and Sasuke walking from Naruto  . And yes that is what I meant his first reaction to Sakura's speech and the second frown to Kakashi's speech .  And that was my point his reaction was more of a like he has come to a revelation about something hence the surprised and frown look    which makes me think that he understand this as Sakura only loving Sasuke as T7  nothing more .  I think he would have been heart broken if it was a declaration of romantic love  since he does love Sakura and bc of the issue of finding a girl like his mother which he's troubled with this bc we all know why .

 

I think he took it in T7 context since that was what Sakura wanted  , but I don't think that he thought that Sakura confessed in here since I do think that it would devastated him  bc he does love her  the POAL is the proof of it . Not to mention how kitten of a move it would be on Kishimoto's part to do this if NS is end game .

 

The thing is if Sakura did confessed in a romantic way in front of him then  I seriously think that Naruto would never accept that Sakura may ever love him  he already was unsure and had low self esteem about this  doing this in front of him it would have increased it by x 10000000000 .  So I'll go with the later option  but it all depends on Naruto's reaction and how he took it .

(and i hope so )    and i think there is a different  between  he thinks sakura said it   and if sakura really said it . if he thinks she said it  . its not that bad . it can be fixed  to naruto and to us imo.  but if she really said it .  i agree it would make a lot of damage . so lets hope . he took it a team/family or at least ( he thinks ) she said it. .in a romantic way .

 

I don't see any surprise in his expression. There are dots... not interrogation marks. He's thinking something over.

Why are you so sure he was looking at Sakura? I'd say it's 50/50. Those panels were drawn with a purpose to show the emotions... but it is hard to state something concrete. (((

well am not that sure  . id say its  75% to 25% . and about the dots i agree . but i said he looks at her cause his face in the middle of 2 sakura face panels  and how he is worried . about something . he always have that face and look when sakura is sad . . thats just me i could be wrong though .

Well I'm exagerating of course.

 

But everytime Hinata manages to get a 'moment' with Naruto. Kishi makes sure to rub Narusaku in her face. The hug, or Naruto presenting Sakura to his dad, telling him she's her GF. Those are nice moment, but no need to have Hinata witnesses it, since apparently Kishi won't let her get the message she doesn't stand a chance.

It's pretty cruel in a way. It lets a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'm too sensitive to that kind of thing.

Yeah I think the context most of all support this and there are many factors in favor of this . And yes there is a difference between he thinks and what was actually said  but if Sakura meant it in romantic  then I would say NS visually and its image is beyond repair bc Kushimoto kittened it up badly and destroyed the appealing of Sakura as a character not to mention that Sakura always considers and puts Naruto's feelings first so it makes no sens.  The follow up will tell us everything so we should wait for it I hope its positive for us .

I don't remember this kind drama in Dragonball Z, One Piece, Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh, YuYu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin......I could keep going.

The only one close enough is InuYasha and yet even that was never as overblown throughout the entire manga.
