Although I doubt that Sakura will be able to make it there, she had just woke up when Sasuke readied his chidori, ruling out her stopping him. I think the only viable option of the two is the OVA.

Sakura is either going to make it to stop Sasuke or she'll be there when the battle near ending.

 

Sakura can make it. Anything can happen. She can get there soon cause it's not far. By help or not also. Still, I think Naruto will handle it on its own to stop his chidori, but it's very possible that she can.

I don't think the FoD scene will happen. Why would Kishi waste pages on something that wouldn't work again? Sasuke's already made it clear Sakura and Kakashi mean less than nothing to him and that Naruto's his only friend. A hug from Sakura wouldn't change anything. He'd probably just try and kill her too. Like you said, the only logical option is the OVA scene.

Lol, funny how Rikudou (not you) left and pretty much said, "Screw this, your problems now." Anyway, you know, Sasuke can still use Bijuus' chakra to dispel. So you can have Naruto and Sasuke do the dispel, Naruto is badly damaged but Sasuke do the dispel and don't end Bijuus, or Naruto and Sasuke do the dispel but Naruto fades out. Naruto is the one that needs help and if it's true about Chidori to the arm, oh yeah, he will need all the help he can get.
