Isn't there a topic already created for these side-conversations about other manga? 

True... Sorry about that, really. It's easy for some of us to slip into conversations with other mangas or series (Legend of Korra, AoT, etc.). I'll try to find the right thread for this manga

Made a mistake and entered a thread filled with NH fans!   Tho I was very suprised to see instead of being happy for their ship. All they post are insults towards NS fans!

 

I feel sorry for them. They eat Kishi BS any time of the day!

This is how it is for all fandoms. When canon is kitten all you can do is walk away or be bitter about someone else. If NH and SS were truly beautiful and moving it wouldn't matter what other people said.

 

All Naruto fans got delivered the same pile of kitten. Some people just don't want to accept it because their ship won.

Are you going to give season 2 a chance? After all, it's an original story, so there's nothing to really compare the story, too... I know, I will watch season 2.

That moment with her lying in bed was so sad T_T And she really wanted to go with him! But I guess Kaneki not wanting her to go with him shows how important she is to him. After having seen how her own brother wrecked her this badly b/c of him, he decided to leave Touka out of this mess. He simply wants to give her a normal life.
There was a panel during the Touka vs Ayato fight that said:" If the Kakuhou is damaged, then the Kagune won't be able to come out". If Ayato really damaged that organ, then Touka might have lost her Kagune (which is the most beautiful one so far I've seen). I doubt that, however, considering she is one of the main characters- I don't want her to become a damsel in distress.

Yeah, I'll probably give it a chance after I catch all the way up. I'll probably watch season 1 to laugh at how terrible SP is, and then I'll watch season 2 see how Ishida handles their stupidity.

Yeah it was really sad. I did like how she said that it made her happy seeing him I also laughed when she said that he could go to hell, "stupid Kanecki" XD. But yeah, you could definitely tell the reasons why he said no. What gave away why he said no was how he cut her off before she could finish. I thought it was a touching moment.
Ayato got wrecked during that fight XD it was great! I guess it depends on if the Kakuhou is damaged, can it be regenerated via the ghouls natural healing ability. I'm not sure if he even damaged the Kakuhou though, he might have just eaten the Kagane, and was preparing to destroy her Kakuhou and kill her, and then Kanecki showed up.

Where? NB? NF? 2chan? They've seen the actualisation of their hormonal driven Hinata wish-fulfillment. All of the studio, Kishi (whenever he isn't teetering back towards avoiding any culpability on his part for the terrible contents of the film), and most of the voice actors are on their side. What is it that they have to complain about? Junko is entitled to her opinion. If she shares in our sentiments then that's perfectly acceptable. They have no authority over her personal interpretation of the story.

I think Ch.31 named "Yoriko" really changed my mind about Touka. I feel bad for her...

I didn't really ship them when I saw the anime... It was what happened after the anime in the manga that made me start really seeing in them a potential couple. Ishida is really emphasizing their relationship. And I love their dynamic; it's hilarious sometimes XD

Just know that Tokyo Ghoul is not romanced based at all. Many people fear that by including romance the manga could be ruined, so realistically speaking, I won't expect too much b/w them happening in the future. Nevertheless, the two of them share a very special bond and Touka has become one of the most important people in Kaneki's life (you'll see later why).

She's supportive of NS which automatically brands her an enemy in their eyes. Even if she's accepting of NH, it doesn't negate the fact that she quieted Kishi at JF during one of his flip-flop episodes. And those fandoms have been highly supportive of Kishi's actions and words since the ending came. 

 

What's their reaction on the two additional pages set to release in the volume edition next year?

I agree. As I've stated before, everything about this ending is so surreal. They are really trying to sell us this narrative that this is the logical and natural conclusion to 15 years of Naruto history, but in the end it just ends up looking forced and fake.

 

Family pictures are supposed to show happiness, but they can't even get that right. Sakura looks miserable, like she's just screaming for someone to please take her away, Sarada looks like she's having an epic stare down with the photographer and Sasuke just doesn't give a sh*t.

 

As for NH, it's just too formal. I mean I get that it's supposed to be all traditional and stuff, but it's just way too stiff and formal. I know I've become biased by NS fanart, but at least those managed to show a happy and vibrant family.

 

So yeah, all this just further cements my biggest gripe with this ending. No one looks truly happy.

 

And yeah, I really don't see why Kishi would see this as a solid way to ensure the future of the franchise. I could be wrong and I most likely am, but stranger things have happened. Everyone has a breaking point, even the Naruto fandom.  

 

So right. None of them are happy.

 

And I don't know how Hinata fans could be satisfied with anything — Hinata is a completely different person than she was in the manga. She's still a non-entity, but now she's a housewife instead of a shy shinobi. But at least before she had a purpose and a reason for evolving. Now all of those things are apparently gone. She isn't once shown as someone who is a leader of her clan, someone fulfilling Neji's legacy and someone brave enough to live Naruto's nindo and change the traditions of her clan. She's a housewife. She has no more story other than being a sweet quiet wifey.

 

And yeah, with NH looking all formal it could be seen as Naruto marrying into a tradition old clan. But the person he's married seems to have forgotten she was even in a clan to begin with!!

 

Tricksie's post reminds me of something else she, and others, have said here: these just don't look like our Naruto characters anymore. I know some disagree, Shisui in particular, but that image of Sakura just doesn't look like our Sakura. The weird open belly shirt, the Tsunade heels, the Karin pose. What happened to the strong, independent woman we grew up with over 15 years. Now she's some weird amalgam of other characters and their style/attitude. These aren't our characters. They are some weird, Bizarro version.

 

 

Yes, that's exactly it. She's Bizarro Sakura and he's Bizarro Naruto. Unfortunately though, Sasuke didn't make the trip. He's the same as ever!!!

 

But Sakura has been remade as part Tsunade, part Karin. The character that was Sakura has been wiped out completely. She's unrecognizable. She's just gone!

I feel the same. First the phone call from that one Karin fan and now that possible suicide attempt...

I didn't ship SK, but to me, this couple made more sense than SS.
