I hate the picture of Sakura-Sasuke-Salada from JF. I mean I seriously HATE it.
By turning his back, Sasuke is completely disconnected from his family. It's a such a small thing, but it reinforces this continuing storyline of SS: Sakura got what she supposedly wanted, Sasuke could care less.
Marriage has not made him a better, softer person. He has never once shown love for Sakura, and now he's turning his back on his daughter as well, making her look as emotionally repressed as a victorian librarian. I mean look at her! She's pushing back her glasses and giving everyone the evil eye that says "Keep it down in here! This is a library!"
As for Sakura, she looks like a combination of Tsunade and Karin. She DOES NOT LOOK LIKE SAKURA. Belly showing? Yeah, Sakura would never do that. They're trying to take away from the character assasination by making her a notch sexier. Gee, thanks.
It's not just the lack of clothing that reflects something of her life now — either shinobi or medic or combination of both — it's that her civilian clothes do not reflect the person she is. If she's a sahm now, then she would be wearing something more Sakura-like. Pretty but utilitarian.
In every new shot of Sakura, we see them doing everything to minimize her and take away her power and role in the series.
And is it just me or are they illustrating Sakura as much smaller these days? She used to be closer in height to Sasuke and Naruto, but after the end, Sakura is seen as almost a whole foot smaller. It just makes me think she's the little wifey now, not a powerful shinobi or medic.
And Hinata supports should be equally disappointed. She's nothing but a housewife now.
But SS, what a mess. If this is meant to be a family portrait, then I want to gag. Sasuke's got his bat cape, Salad's a baby librarian, and Sakura looks like she's three sakes away from popping open her shirt and going the way of Tsunade, for whom power=loneliness.
Going by the body positioning, Sakura looks lonely. Salad looks wound tighter than a drum. And Sasuke looks unchanged — which means he still doesn't love her/them. No matter that he's married. No matter that he has a child.
Now picture what Sakura and her family would look like if she were with Naruto? Yeah, it hurts to think about, right? They'd all be happy and included, facing each other, and Naruto with his arm around Sakura.
You know, each time some new propaganda comes out I think it won't be a big deal, that I'm over the ending, but then I'm mad all over again. They're selling a storyline that they never told in the manga. All to generate future interest/sales in the next story.
Salada's pose is a copy paste on Karin's pose ! Is Kishi trying to send us a message ? that he didn't want that ending ? whatever it is, he should have fought for his manga ! He should have done like other mangakas who were less famous than him !
Some say that Sasuke is IC in that pic ...seriously ?! Maybe, but he is like the sasuke pre-698. Even in team 7 pic he wasn't turning his back to his teammates ! can he show more...CONCERN about his family ? and as you said, in a narusaku family pic, everything would be ...much happier and family-like !
and holy kitten...is Sakura WINKING ? or is it the light ? (I hope she's not )
Anyway, if I was a SS shipper, I wouldn't be happy to see that ! Are they trying to depicting unhappy families...because, I have to admit, they really succeeded in doing it !
Sorry to ruin the fun, but whatever "positive" news about NS from the publisher, the author or the studio is almost certainly to be fake. If anything, it's an attempt for us to "keep eye" on this series, creating yet another buzz for it to be alive and take advantage of us.
Let it go folks. Kishimoto doesn't care about NS fandom, neither should we care about his work. Complaining won't redeem anything, and we'll just waste our time.
If you like the concept of NS, I suppose it's alright if you want to cling for it as long as it makes you happy. Otherwise, don't put *any* hope or look forward for them or any revision to this story.
We haven't heard any single apology or sincere good will to "bid farewell nicely" to NS fandom coming from them. On the contrary, we're mocked, misled, and turned down. Every question about romance and canon pairing were answered by making retcon about why Naruto and Sakura were not good if they are together, to the point it breaks their character's integrity.
It will be even worse going forward. We could never see them the same way again. The last two chapters, the movie and the interviews gave us these

Oh wow, I didn't know I could be very dark also.. ha ha... anyways, it's just for fun. Bottom line: don't waste your time on Kishimoto's plan for NS, whatever it is. They just want your attention and your money.
Going forward, this series is not worth your time and attention. Going forward, Naruto fandom for the new era or the new generation-whatever, will be filled with people idolizing the fictional characteristics I've ranted above. I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm sure I won't be part of it.

Kishi did an awful job at treating his characters (especially the female ones), and all that because of this ending !
We almost all thought that he was a great author, but apparently, we were overestimating him, and he really proved it to us !
