I don't really care either way. It is the way Kishi wants to display the story, it is his choice. My problem is not with Kishimoto, but with the fans who have this mentality to hold sins against one character, but then think it is okay when another character does it too or something worse and even more pathetic.
I blame Kishi for ruining a perfectly good dynamic by stretching something like saving Sasuke to be the entire instead of something that should have been solved in 1 story arc or at the very last end before the Pain arc begin because seriously after everything with Pain...Sasuke just seemed like a whiny brat by comparison.
