I was asking if the movie will really be the epilogue to the series or not because some people here disagree.

okay, there is a time skip, right? things are, if we are lucky, settled down. i think the epilogue could be in the manga and this movie is like "the last adventure that is going to be showed" (the mission) and the last seconds will be like "everyone is happy now", "everything is perfect"

okay, there is a time skip, right? things are, if we are lucky, settled down. i think the epilogue could be in the manga and this movie is like "the last adventure that is going to be showed" (the mission) and the last seconds will be like "everyone is happy now", "everything is perfect"

Again, we still have one more story arc to go after this winter. Winter starts at the 21nd the movie is going to be released in the 9th on top of that in this supposed ending we already reached the end of a volume (which means there's some more volumes coming out)

 

the manga will apparently continue after the movie's release going by translations here. Not to mention we still have alot more things to cover. Sasuke's "i'm gonna tear down this shinobi system and make a new one" alone seems like something that will carry its own separate arc, besides killing Naruto right there and then in front of everybody isn't exactly going to be a good idea. Besides we still have a bunch of political crap to carry out, what to do with Taka and ofcourse we still have to wait for Kakashi to become the next hokage, be in that position long enough and then hand the spot over to Naruto.

but Kishi didn't say the manga will end this year?

if there is one more arc, it needs to be in that time skip...but then the name "the last" wouldn't make sense...

Well we don't know what the movie is about, "The Last" could be a reference to anything.

 

Or it could just be a cop out like the whole first film marketing that Naruto will die. Or maybe its a title that wont end up making any sense like "Road to Ninja".

Yeah,you're right.There will be preparations for the new arc.Like Shinobi world getting normal again,Kakashi being hokage,Sasuke's true goals and Taka...Then that means the manga won't end in 2014.

I don't think there will be part 3.But if there will be more events then Kishi can change his mind and continue.

But hardly worth the expenses unless you have a kittenton of cash or business or something.

 

Especially if you live in America. Flights there and back are $2,000 - $4,000. That's ofcourse also not counting paying for hotel rooms, food, or gas for rental cars or cabs.

Hopefully they will have a roadshow again like the previous Naruto movie (Road to Ninja). It came here (Singapore) in about 3 months after it was released in Japan. If I'm not mistaken, it was due to the huge success Road to Ninja had that time --it has the highest box office result compared to all other movies and they managed to grab lots of dollars, public attention, etc. So much so that Kishimoto himself drew a Naruto and Menma sketch to thank his fans...

 

As for the sketches, I'm curious about how it is released.. So far, we have Naruto & Sakura, Shikamaru and Temari, Lee and Tenten, all of which are my favorites couples in this series... hm.. Kishi, what are you hinting at? :) :)

Yeah. And iirc s/he was a Sasuke fan, they did that to see Sasuke in the movie... And he was in the movie for all of like two minutes lmao.
