Funny how things turn out because I bet Kishimoto never intended for the romantic subplot to escalate to this level originally. He should have kept it simple imo. I remember an interview where he said he never gave the pairings much thought but would probably resolve one of them by the end of the manga.
I mean I get his intentions with the love triangle with eventually Naruto will succeed in winning over Sakura who is still hung up on Sasuke, but in the end it was just haphazardly executed and the romance just made the story a tad more unbearable along with the Uchiha wank, especially when you get chapters like 693 and Hinata's confession. Fans are also to blame with their ridiculous analysis and rationalizations for blatant reprehensible actions.

I guess maybe if she didnt have the byakugan and she didnt have the third eye and if she actually smiled once in a while and wasnt totally insane. Disregarding all that then shes damn sexy

Really wish Sakura got another major fight. Like the Sasori fight! I remember watching it and getting so hyped to see Sakura getting into a real battle with an Akatsuki.

Yeah she does, but I still don't think her current goal during this war arc is to be in romantic relationship with him once this war is over. That's completely OOC of her.
