Well I'm not, forgetting the potential BS powers level Erza is using (I don't know if Hiro-sensie is doing this on purpose, but it's like he wants us to hate Erza by giving her Hex powers one arc after another.)

 

Just the power Eileen has shown to date which puts her at a completely different level to anything we've seen, and now we see her Dragon form and that went straight to Madara level ridiculous.

 

Grrr...this arc is so frustrating, Erza's character has been my favourite for years, even durign the E.N.D Cube dungeon arc that had many here bashing her, I still liked her, I wasn't a big fan of her beicoming a weakling to make Jellal look good but beyond that I've always liked her, this arc feels like it's forcing me to agree with the haters, She started this battle in a weakened state to begin with still recovering from her previous battle, and in her weakened state and as injured as she is, she's taking on a freaking meteorite.

 

Maybe i'm in the minority and these kind of Hex power-up are really popular with fans, Bleach did it every arc, Fairy Tale did it every arc (though not at this level bad.) and Kishi did it with Uchiha's all the time, (and with Naruto near the end).

Why is she surprised by her mother turning into a dragon? If she believe that story then she should know; her mother is a dragon maintaining human form through magic.

Lmfao just read the new fairy tail chapter, how ridiculous can it get????? Holy kitten Erza is literally the worst character in this story, one of the worst in any form of literature. Like what the kitten. Absolutely just handed everything just because. I thought it couldn't be stupider than beating someone when all 5 of her senses were gone, but then we got the glare. I thought it couldn't get worse, but then we get this kitten.

She's the worst character in this damn manga, period.

Well I would say this (or Bleach for that matter) would never fall to "Naruto low", but okay I guess. To each their own.

She might you never know with hiro since she was in her Dragon mom's womb for over 100 years. I still think sasuke is the worst manga character ever not erza.

Who's to say she won't? Infact the way this has set up, I wouldn't be surprised if defeating Acnogolia fell on her shoulders, actually if Hiro-sensie had set up the history properly, it would have made perfect sense , afterall who better to defeat the most powerful Dragon slayer turned dragon than the only known child of the slayer turned dragon, the daughter of the very first dragon slayer in fact, the person who inadvertently gave the world the ability to make Dragon Slayers in the first place.

 

If the back story had been set up properly, with the hints put in place from the beginning, the potential of Erza vs Acnologia and Natsu vs Zeref would be exciting but the way it's done just would not go so well and wold just give haters more reason to hate.

I mean, Natsu getting all the haxxed power-ups make much more sense because it was hinted throughout the series and was properly explained. Zeref's entire goal was to create a superhuman being capable of killing not just him, but Acnologia. With that in mind, it makes perfect sense if Natsu got the hax powers instead of Erza.

I'm honestly tired that she constantly uses that one outfit. In theory she has hundred of outfits/armor that she can pull out of nowhere (which at least make her fight interesting by showing us new outfit/armor designs), but instead it always when thing get serious or for a finishing move it always a katana with that wraps for her breast and flame pants get-up.

You mean her clean heart outfit while it does give her more striking power it's the dumbest move she can do it's one of the reasons she lost to zoro in death battle, I feel like this series Is going to final fantasy 7 with that meteor.
This really has nothing to do with fairy tail but in Dragon ball super we get a female broly in the next arc.

If you have to have Hax power, they should do something unique like Lalouch did with Code Geauss, or they should own it and go bonkers like they did with Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann. Or they can go the One piece route, show your characters grow each arc, so each battle you see their progression, it's not a new OTT power but a evolution of their abilities.

I actually think that as far as Natsu's hax powers go, it is decently executed because there was a gradual build-up with hints scattered throughout the series. It might not be unique, but it is executed well enough that it doesn't entirely break the story because it has a meaningful purpose. Erza though.....

What's the kill la kill part ryuko getting new powers for senketsu when fight the elite four? The one thing Is a good example more should do it like oda

All we need of erzas backstory was her in tower of haven and failing to save jellal and possibly saving kagura during the raid on her home. This Dragon mom thing is interesting but really adds nothing though Dragon erza does sound cool.

Fairy tail has an early chapter release this week. So Erza destroys the meteor and then Wendy enchant her sword with dragon slaying magic to deal a blow to her mother. Her mother reverts back to her human form"?" Then we get another flashback... guess what happens.
