The fact that there was nine of them wasn't any secret.

Funny how during Itachi's era (Yahagi's era), they sure made Kuruma the only thing that is all powerful. Then, Juubi existed out of the blue. So much for that...

Yeah well that's just another thing that pointed to the ending being IT, but sadly it's all reality whether you choose to accept it or not.

Personally, though it's for my story, I would have the two to interact in every arc and you can see the development with each other. Think as Mass Effect, where you can really tell your relationship has grown a lot.

Anyway, yes, I understand he witnessed all the moments with Naruto, but he sure was an ass while against Naruto not that long ago. The last interaction is Naruto will find peace and poof, Kuruma changed.

Eh we can sit here and nit pick stuff like that all day, but really in the grand scheme of things that isn't all that important at least to me. The overlaying problem still resides with the ending and the Last with the bad moral messages they send. They left us with a bad impression and soured the entire manga.

Maybe it could have work right after Pain Arc, like have Naruto start talking to Kuruma because the necklace crystal is gone and they have to work together for that Minato's scroll and THAT Jutsu. Nope, enter Sakura taking advantage of Naruto.

Yeah there was problems in the story for sure, but that can be said about any other story. If the ending was actually good I doubt anyone would notice these types of problems and we would have be pleased with the manga overall. The ending just made us more critical as we look back at the story. That's all I'm saying.
