Yes but he wasn't in disbelief of all the bad Sasuke was doing the flashbacks were Sakura's moments towards Sasuke, implying that what she is saying is BS because of.....moments that happened in the past.

I think he was. It would explain why he hyperventilated when he finally accepted the crap. He was in complete denial before and stuck in this idea that the Sasuke from part 1 was still around. Does he still keep that scratched headband or did he throw it away by now?

Naruto was more stuck on Sasuke than Sakura was. (up until a certain point in the story.) I am sticking by that.

Yeah I believe Kishi wants to do something with that. Maybe Naruto will hand it to him back and he'll keep it on his person (not wear it though since he's a wanderer now apparently)

 

Yeah Naruto was more obsessed with Sasuke than Sakura was, whenever the subject of Sasuke was brought up we were always shown Naruto's expression and reaction almost never Sakura's we were only shown Sakura's when we were shown everybody else's. Even when team 7 found out about Sasuke turning evil Kishi singled Naruto out "How will Naruto deal with this!?" when Sasuke was kidnapped by Tobi we weren't even shown Sakura's reaction just Naruto, Kakashi even Sai's but not Sakura's. Even Sakura says that he's prioritizing saving Sasuke way too much.

A lot of people pitied Naruto after reading ch. 693. However, he wasn't visibly so frustrated (besides feeling sadness for Sakura) and certainly didn't look broken-hearted. In my opinion, he could have even been pleased to hear Sakura's honest words.

Still chapter 691 kind of perplexes me about Naruto's thoughts on where he stands with Sakura.

 

He didn't seem to have any problem referring to her as his sort of girlfriend to his dad. He atleast SHOULD be aware of Sakura being like Kushina and we got confirmation that Sakrua was honest meaning if Naruto gets around to confessing we know she'll accept it.

 

I get him and Sakura aren't official, but wasn't Kushina's request to "find" someone like her? Which doesn't mean be with (not at the moment) but it just sort of seemed like his confidence with Sakrua fizzles away at times.

I never said he was angry at Sakura for badmouthing Sasuke. He was angry at Orochimaru over Sasuke and flipped out turning into a tailed beast. He got angry at Obito when he talked about Sasuke and he hyperventilated when Gaara talked about  it too.

Basically, Sasuke's bipolar nature is a disease that Naruto caught when talking about Sasuke. It reminds me of that dying plant in Bill and Mandy whenever someone mentioned "Lord Moldybutt."

Everyone talked bad about how Sakura is for apparently "begging" in this chapter, but easily do they forget that not only did Naruto beg on Sasuke's behalf on some occasions, but also hyperventilated and fainted, cried, and so much more. What is really truly pathetic?

Yeah the Kage Summit arc is what really destroyed Sasuke's character for me.

 

Naruto was beaten, and psychologically devastated because of his actions, actions that he won't ever apologize for. Its like all of Team 7 is stuck in an abusive relationship with Sasuke.

That's so ironic that's all I basically hear SS and NH fans say on facebook when they talk about if NS goes canon only when they say it...its clearly serious.

 

I still don't really get why NH is canon (let me just say on the record I am not bashing neither NH or SS) I just don't get it because the last time Naruto and Hinata even interacted was in the chunnin exam and i really don't get SS especially when I came from a family where my dad and mom were pretty much like SS only it involved more drugs and physical beatings.

Whatever the past is the past they divorced a long time ago and as an adult I'm old enough to find someone and have the relationship they were never able to have.

Well, he has to confess (or at least accept her LOI confession) to start a serious relationship (that's a social convention for Japanese people). Maybe... that is why he couldn't voice Sakura's name. Because Kushina meant that one special woman and was very serious about it. I mean, it's like telling your beloved mother that you met this one girl you wish to marry, but the two of you are not together, more than that, you're not even sure that she loves you like that. And he wanted to appear to Kushina as a responsible son... 

 

If he can't bring Sasuke back, Naruto can't confess, and if he can't confess, he also can't approach Sakura in a serious way. He makes his own life too complicated. (((

Well Naruto is allot more matured since that time P1 but he still had that surprised/shocked look on his face from Sakura's speech  so his reaction is interesting in here  especially when mentioning the POAL with such confidence in his eyes  . But this makes me question even more if he took Sakura's plea as her confessing to him or he finally realized that Sakura only loves Sasuke as member of T7 bc it sure doesn't seem like he took it under romantic context  and we know how much he loves Sakura  and how that affects him .

I don't really care either way. It is the way Kishi wants to display the story, it is his choice. My problem is not with Kishimoto, but with the fans who have this mentality to hold sins against one character, but then think it is okay when another character does it too or something worse and even more pathetic.
