That's a very good possibility. It could probably be right after Naruto tries to separate the two girls. AU Hinata then probably grabbed Naruto by the collar while she asked him if he was taking Sakura's side.
So that gives us a grand total of two scene with AU Hinata: the introduction and the bath house. Unless those two scenes take up a lot of minutes I'm still expecting other scenes with her as well since so far it would look that Sasuke get more screen time than her, but apparently it's Hinata who appears the most out of all the AU characters.
Maybe her two scenes are just longer...I doesn't make a difference to me if she gets extra scenes that we haven't seen yet though, as I said before, because whenever AU Hinata is on the scene, she only seems to show jealousy towards Sakura, implying NaruSaku.
Now that I think about it, since a big part of Sasuke's canon personality in part 1 was that not only did he not reciprocate Sakura's feelings, he didn't reciprocate any of his fangirls's feelings, it actually makes sense that he now flirts with practically every girl he sees, including Sakura. Well played, Kishi. Well played.
Exactly -- Sasuke never saw Sakura as any different from all of other fangirls in regards to romantic feelings.
Tender moments. Bonding. Lots of emotions running like a river. Understanding. Looking into the another's heart.
Stuff that eventually leads to a relationship.
This -- this is the stuff that makes NaruSaku so great; Kishi takes his time and builds a strong foundation of mutual understanding, caring, compassion, empathy, bonding, etc.
I think that its telling that in this movie that Kishi put so much effort and involvement into focuses so much on Naruto and Sakura's relationship, especially in relation to any potential he could have used to build NaruHina or SasuSaku -- hell, he even apparently skimped on any potential Naruto and Sasuke bonding moments, which given his propensity towards that relationship in the manga is surprising.

AU Hinata is full out crazy yandere b*tch in this movie -- I'm loving how insanely jealous she is of Sakura, and of how all Naruto seems to want to do is run away from her.

Funny thing everyone has been goin' grazy for months, and it's only filler for them because they'll be NS instead of NH/SS. ^^

Don't get me wrong, its still filler, though I think its a valid point to make that there's author intent here given his huge involvement in the project, checking and overseeing the whole story board and putting as much effort into this as the manga (which surprised me) -- still not canon, but its more than just regular filler which counts for absolutely nothing.
Though I can't say I really blame them all that much -- Kishi trolled them pretty hard by setting them up with the promos of Sasuke flirting with Sakura and noting that Hinata still liked Naruto, but was more outspoken about her feelings, and then that one shot cover, only to unleash the spoilers of the full movie where Sasuke is barely in it and gives Sakura the same exact empty line that he gives a dozen other mindless fangirls, and Hinata is just scaring Naruto off whenever she's on screen not even subtle in her jealousy of Sakura's relationship with Naruto. I'd be pretty bitter too.
That actually wouldn't be a bad idea, and if the movie is pretty popular the animators might be tempted to do it.
I would still like for Naruto and Sakura to retain their personalities but this time actually make them part of the AU. On other words, even if they act the same they actually grew up with those AU characters and have always known them. Although I would prefer if Sakura's parents were alive in that scenario. That time around they could actually focus more on the character interactions between the AU characters. Of course this is all wishful thinking.
I wouldn't mind seeing a spin off of this universe -- I much prefer crazy AU Hinata over her canon personality; I like both Inos; playboy Sasuke is absolutely hilarious -- plus with Minato and Kushina go without saying. And yes, Sakura's parents alive in the same world as Naruto's parents while they're teenagers? Do want.

I would definitely love to see more of Sakura's parents interacting with Sakura! I hope we see more of them after this! I wonder if we'll get to see them in manga at all now that they've been introduced?
One of the few things that makes me wonder about that summary is that we've had from official publicity that the scene with Naruto and Iruka at Ichiraku's begins the movie, not ends it.
Really? I don't recall that, though I believe you -- I did notice some of the stuff was out of order to begin with, talking about Sakura with her parents and Naruto looking on (which happens before they go into the genjutsu) after stuff that happens in the genjutsu.

From reading the movie thread on NF, apparently Tobi merged with Menma, making his hair turn black.

As for Road to Ninja Sakura being AU Sakura, that certainly would make some sense -- but where is the normal Sakura then? Does this occur maybe while Naruto and Sakura are in the genjutsu, and that's why Naruto himself isn't around to help her out??? Possibilities.
