Looking forward to the next chapter, see how the fight progresses. If my theory is correct it should be a tie or something... if not then Naruto will stand conscience just a few minutes longer than Sasuke technically making him the winner. I'm not saying that the fight will end in 698, but that is a possibility. Gee, to think that this story is 700 chapters long.... just Imagine how long it will take just to read it all from start to finish.

True, just imagine having all the volumes, I mean so far I've got all of Part 1 for Naruto. 

 

For Part 2 I've got Volumes 28-43 (The Rescue Kazekage Arc to The Pursuit Itachi Uchiha Arc) and Volumes 52-67 (End of Five Kage Summit Arc to The Fourth Great Ninja War) (What's currently out here in the states) 

 

The only ones I'm missing are Volumes 44-51 which is basically The Pain Invasion Arc to Beginning of Five Kage Summit.

 

Volumes 68 as far as US goes comes out on December 2nd. Which I'm definitely gonna be picking up. After that there are only 4 more volumes left to collect in the series (excluding the ones I still need to get), and after that it's done. 

 

 

Just for a fun fact I'm currently rereading Volume 30 where Sakura and Lady Chiyo fight off against Sasori.

If I recall there's a quite old interview where Kishi said that at least one pairing will be confirmed by the end of the manga. I hope Kishi never goes back on his word. XD

Hinata isn't even personally involved in his life how the hell will Naruto fall in love with her? Really. She doesn't know about his relationship with Sasuke, his relationship with Jiraiya, his dream to become Hokage, team 7 drama, battle skills etc. Nothing. Just the standard stuff. NH is H development. 80% of her character is Naruto centric, therefore she will develop along with him. If NH was to become end game, at least let her in Naruto's personal life. If it was meant to become canon, why the NS moments? Why introduce Sakura as the main characters love interest? Could have been avoided but nope. I think we're good xD

Nah, it died in the Pein arc when all Naruto managed to say was  '' . . . . . ''  after Hinata's 'beautiful' confession.

nah, nh died when part 2 started. kishi could have gradually increased what little interaction they had in part 1, but he didn't. kishi made her irrelevant along with other characters he created.

I shipped it back in part one with LeeSaku.

It had potential.

It all went down the gutter when Kishi decided to only focus on Narusasu and destiny and forget all about his side cast, as well as not giving Sakura and Kakashi enough focus.

But it's less cruel of Kishi to not have developped it into something that could have rivaled NS just to shot it down at the end. the fandom is already delusional enough, their upcoming big disapointment would be even worse.

sure. but it was actually pretty good in part 1 with the written chunin exams, the fight against neji, and her encouragement speech she gave to naruto before he faced brotha neji. in part 2 it's as if she never existed, and on top of that kishi completely destroyed her character by turning her into pairing fodder. it's truly a shame what he did to her and he's the reason why i can't stand hinata.
