Well, Iook at it this way. if the film is a success in Japan and its not in the west (again), then SP and SJ have filtered out the loyal (logical) fans all for nothing with lies and deceits just to cater to the west. Their campaign to milk the west went up in smoke. At that point, they will be shooting themselves in the foot for sacrificing all the general fans that could have brought Kishi 2 million more fans at the least.

the franchise will be in SJ and SP's hand. Regardless how futile this may be, Shueisha and SJ must suck it up and roll the dice and have a novelist reboot the franchise after the Pain Arc or redo the last ten chapters of the original manga, plus more. It will not get all the fans back but its they can manage half a million if the story line is done properly.

Doesn't the majority of the fanbase come from Japan? If so, as long as the movie is successful in Japan then they shouldn't be concerned about the west

This may be a little bit off topic.

 

I just played mafia 2 and there is this rich bad guy named Dereck he is head company of some sort seaport transportation cargo, he make money through negative way [killing people, selling drugs/dopes etc].

And he said something that really reminds me of naruto. 'Your mom must be telling you to get a decent job and be a good man right? same my mom too, but look at me now'

So he saying that you don't have to listen to your mother to be a successful person, if you want to make real money.

 

Now his word reminds me of naruto, we know naruto is also didn't listen to kushina dying word. He ended up rich yes he is hokage but he still eat ramen and cup of noodles and worse ... he drink beer now.

You know ... maybe this is what kishi want to tell his fans, don't listen to your parents advice if you want real money to be a rich.

Really Gaiden showed us that Naruto and Sakura are anything but close anymore. Why the hell would Naruto(or Kakashi for that matter) let Sakura leave the village pregnant?

Especially when you consider Kurenai was benched throughout all of part two while pregnant, at home, checked up on by friends, and so on.

I love the internal contradiction of the gaiden volume. Sakura states that Naruto is her best friend and yet they never talk and interact like the good old days. They don't help out each other when they are both feeling down with their lives. The shipping war is already over so it doesn't matter right... wait a minute it would make the official pairings even more dumber if they talk to each other cause it would expose how Sasuke and Sakura don't work and the natural chemistry Naruto has with her...

 

Kishi and the marketing can lie as much as they want about the official ending (notice how the VAs and the author  saying that narusaku is not logical but can't provide a logical argument and reasoning) but the way you write never lies...

I love the entire contradiction of the whole ending and everything that came after.

They changed everything about the old story in order to make this new one. There are so many contradictions that it's not even funny.

Naruto literally goes through hell to keep his promise for himself and for her. There is absolutely no closure regarding the promise of a lifetime and its Sasuke who ends up getting her love after being the biggest ahole all part 2 long and never learning who actually complimented her forehead its disgusting.  Her love for him ends where it began a lie... a series of lies and misinterpretations. The closure of the promise would have made narusaku canon (he intended to confess after) and that's why its intentionally never resolved and is buried with the nonsensical forehead poke (he was never ever given a reason to like it in the first place).

I'd bet my bottom dollar it's not as bad as my ADHD and mild OCD together. Just image someone like me studying geological records of our past with my attention span and ocd behavior in our rock layers..

last year was a bad year for all of us as Naruto fans thanks to the ending of Naruto and while it still hurts a lot of us and many have left us since that time thanks to Kishi wanting money more than making a good story and having a hard on for Sasuke.

 

lets us all remember that this year marks the end of another series that has been going on for a long time Metal gear Solid which sadly ends next month, here is the last trailer that the Master writer Hideo Kojima has made for all of us watch at your own risk.

Because fanon is better than canon.

Normally speaking this should be the opposite but with Naruto it's a special case. A case where fanfiction is better than the canonical material that the writer well wrote.

 

Of course it is, but the problem is if those theories the guy's been thinking about are something he considers possible to be inserted into canon

I find this unlikely

 

They might do another ending or conclusion or whatever but this might be some years from now on, and even if they do and somehow decide to end it with NS thiss time, it will not only be considered a pity ending in the eyes of many but it will also not change the stupid kitten that happened in the later part of the story
