You're right he does look really similar to Toneri. 

 

Salad seems like to be the most insightful of the bunch already, "Why does the Ninja system still exist, if this is supposed to be an Era of Change for the better"......I doubt that this will even be addressed in this manga 

 

The New Ino-Shika-Cho are extremely Dull tbh   .......Don't Care

 

Boruto......don't care.

 

PS: I'm gonna try an avoid the other panels posted, I don't need more disappointment

You know it's interesting to see that Kishi is somewhat addressing the issues of what is a ninja now, that I mentioned in my rant.

As for the new generation I simply don't care. This new Ino-Shika-Cho is actually a xerox copy of Shikamaru plus a fat chick plus a zombie. It's really a parody of the old Ino-Shika-Cho.

Naruto being the sensei or mentor for Sarada makes sense actually.  He will teach her how to make rasengan and shadow clones, and summon toads. While, at the same time, Ero Sasuke-sennin will teach to Bolt how to make chidori for killing women, use the amaterasu and susanoo for spamming them just at random. What are you saying? Boruto isn't from Uchiha clan? No one cares about this, coherence went to hell in this manga since years.

Maybe I don't want her potential to be qasted though She is already under a curse for being a woman in Kishi's series I hope she.breaks the curse

You got to hand it over to her perceptions though Sasuke....has this perception skills....but Karin has them too. What worries me is her look when she's being perceptive. It eerily matches Karin But oh well....

It's conflicted. On one Hand, she's an Uchiha, and we all know how much Kishi loves dem uchihas.

 

...but, on the other, she's a female, who pretty much become tools for Romance Drama in this series (well at least the popular ones do).

 

I don't know what future lies for Sarada's character.....but at the same time, I really don't care

I think Kishi is playing too safe by repeating the story again, which even include what's a ninja. That's obviously reserved for Sasuke to teach her that.

Other than that, these new gen characters so far reserved for the fathers to teach them a lesson or them coming up with a lesson. I don't see much of appeal if I don't get anything coming from themselves. That's like a subplot not a plot, but that's how Kishi rolls. That's why I can't get behind the characters, especially Boruto, who's already a carbon copy.

He's surely on his way home, cause we're obviously gonna see him interact with Sarada and Sakura (SS moments are coming    ) but it's not sure he's gonna be back to Konoha in the next chapter !

Yeah same here. Like, I guess she is the most interesting of the bunch which really doesn't say anything? But the narrative is so lame and contrived and I have zero connection with any of the characters so really, salad is just a character drawn on a page that I will glance at just quickly enough so I know what to make fun of when I come here to post.

I'm going to be honest with you, when chapter 700 and sequel was announced, people kept saying it's daddy's issues and what not, but I thought it was covered with chapter 700 with Naruto amazing speech and Sarada just put 2 and 2 together and got her answer. That was it. Then, this happened. So yes, I was proven wrong. That said I wish I wasn't.
