I think they at least aren't mislead by mistranslations. And yes, there are a lot of mistranslations with SK.
 
When Obito talks about Karin and Sasuke, in some translations he says "she is useful", but in the original he says "she is Sasuke's favourite".
Karin didn't really say she liked being stabbed by Sasuke either.

I know all of that, it's just that I want to know where they stand. I heard from someone that they're actually good amount of them. I guess in here, it's one of the most hated one, for well you know...but maybe I'm not seeing it clearly.

to my last understanding its a relatively popular pairing in Japan, related to the story itself, much like NaruSaku/

 

the fandom basically understands where Kishimoto sensei is going with the story and supports it in that regard and as a functional pairing. others may be cuter or more fun to imagine but they remain just that imagination.

You can't really trust polls, but ItaSaku is indeed very popular. There are many Sakura pairings that are popular.

Reason why I believe this poll to either have a biased audience or BS is because there is no SasuNaru. Unless this was a poll for only hetero pairings

there is something about parallels that truly enforces them.

 

the prime parallel that we use the Minato rescuing Kushina from tobi, and the Naruto rescuing Sakura from Sasuke.

 

What truly cements this parallel is that the Author did the Naruto to sakura part FIRST.

 

the Minato to Kushina part was done second. The Past parallel was done to reinforce the Future one in this case.

 

When an author does that hes saying ""See this action? This *point to past parallel* is why this action is important.

This is an answer to your question regarding what the japanese forums say about sakuras confession. Im not japanese but i've been doing alot of research in the japanese fandom, made alot of japanese friends, read alot on their opinions on sakuras confession and its positive, nothing like the western fanbase at all, they acknowledge sakuras confession as true and sincere amd what she did was right, and some others are at a loss to what to say and say time will tell in the manga, some have just simply discussed that sakura confessed to naruto and went to kill sasuke but failed and naruto came and saved her. Nothing negative, i've passed by two posts that said they think sakura was lying, but many other users said that sakura said she wasnt gonna make anymore mistakes and that she was being honest. No negativitey or bashing whatsoever.

Since Kishimoto has already said Sakura was not lying about loving him, it's not really up for debate anymore.

 

The fact that many people got it all wrong, and that the confession was just cut off leaves me thinking it will be brought up again. Naruto understood by Sai's words, but I want him to hear it from Sakura.

Now that you mention the popularity of ItaSaku it reminds me of a few reviews we saw when Road to Ninja came out a year ago. One of them mentioned that when Itachi carried Sakura many girls in the theater screamed.

 

Still, this seems to be a very biased voting poll considering the votes for the other pairings.

 

Hey, just like NaruSaku4life I'm also curious about where does the japanese fandom stands with SasuKarin. Do they like it from a story perspective?

Thank you for providing more detail in regards to their perspective of Sakura's confession. I guess even some of them are as confused as we are and still wait for the day the manga will finally finish addressing it all.

As I said above a few posts they seem to see it from a story perspective. They understand its development and place in the story well enough and while it ahs both its uber fans and detractors its understood.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Did you happen to find out what they thought about the Minato interactions in 631? I've heard various different interpretations of it, but all of them came from biased western fans who have learned (or are in the process of learning) Japanese.

I gotta say, the japanese really are truly kishi's main fanbase, i mean, they support it, and know its the endgame. Narusaku's popualrity in japan is catching up to narusaku, which is good to know even though it doesnt make a difference, just gives a good atmosphere.

Yeah it was a fathers approval.

 

They're just really happy and saying that sakura didnt deny it and that naruto and sakuras relationship is all about trust and they dont need words to communicate with eachother. And how sakura is exactly like kushina and minato also approves.

Wow, just wow. Well, good thing I keep it to myself. I didn't think there will be subject like that around. Again, not pointing finger or bashing, but this is seriously wrong that not even people at YouTube (reviewers) would think this way. Not bashing them either because I respect them, but my point is show some class.
