Minato's comment would be just a waste of panels. What was the purpose of it? Honestly no one was expecting it besides Kishimoto.

 

Like I said, for me this was a sealed thing since that moment, because it wasn't a moment he had to show but did either way.

Exactly, there were lots of thing he could have said, that one was the last one needed in that moment.

Not that I'm complaining, of course deep down I was hoping for it to happen since we were receiving bashing more than ever, but boy, what a day that was.

540 got us to chapter 693, so it had a purpose in the end even when NS gets canon. If we end up with NH or SS, than that scene really had no purpose at all and is something that shouldn't be there. This wasn't just ship tease, it was the connection to Kushina's words.

I knew that feeling. I was most furious about the other Fandom wishing that Minato would make a girlfriend comment towards Hinata, so I hoped, but not expected, that we would get that instead so that they could get what they deserved at that time. God must have been very generous that day.

Haha, I was more caught up in the moment and wanted to contribute something to the joy everyone was feeling.

That day really was the best in my Naruto days, followed only by Sakura's shining moment and CPR. WIsh I could've seen their faces

I love how there aren't any pro SS moments anymore its just a huge mixture of ASS and ANS.

At least I feel very lonely at the positive NS side.

 

You're definitely not alone.  I have never wavered from being totally positive about NS.  There are a number of us around here -- and I know exactly who they are -- who have never wavered, never feared, and stood strong and positive even when others wanted to burn us at the stake for our "arrogance" and "delusions" after #615.

 

They will have to pry the NS manifesto from my cold, dead hands.  

 

If Kishimoto does something to sabotage his own work, then that's on him.  All I would be able to do at that point is admit I was wrong about him.

I hope something actually significant happens...other than a hug because I mean anyway you slice it 693 was pretty ANS she knows Naruto will most likely die, she knows there's nothing she can do to stop it but again Sasuke had to be the one she pleads to

 

when does the new databook come out....maybe Kishi will have some more pro NS kitten in Sakura's profile...you know aside from the occasional "she loves Sasuke so much....and Naruto she may or may not likelike *continues will they/won't they bs*"

No they don't I feel exactly the same I did a few minutes ago. I know NS will be canon i'm very confident Kishi will tie it up with Sakura confirming her feelings....I don't believe its going to be done well, because Kishi cares more about keeping things a surprise then making characters progress. If Arakawa did this with the EdxWinry relationship, it would be so much less popular to a hilarious degree. 

 

The only thing I'm indecisive on is whether or not is whether or not it will be an appealing conclusion....which props to Kishi for making that an actual problem for an OTP going on 15 years, I mean you'd actually have to try to get someone to find their favorite pairing for 15 years to be dissapointed by a conclusion.
