What makes the poster think Sasuke will fall in love with Sakura just because she loves him?

Sasuke can change, but Sakura can't. Gotcha.

In fact, according Kishimoto, she was being honest when she confessed to Naruto.

At this point I feel like there is more of a chance of no pairings happening at all than SS happening. Which, the no pairings ending seems possible to me suddenly. NS, the most likely pairing, is a bit screwed up at the moment. NH is forgotten and Sasuke pairings were just stabbed in the heart. I know kishimoto said he would try to do one of the pairings, but really, who knows XD

I don't need Kishi to confirmed that Sakura was telling the truth in her confession even an ape could tell she was telling the truth. Sakura has never lie to Naruto besides the time when four tail Kyuubi hurt her but she lied to him because she didn't wanted him to worry about her. Besides what kind of heroine will she be if she lie in something very personal as admitting her feelings to him??? lying to Naruto will be hurting his feelings not to mention that she said she didn't wanted to make another mistake. She also said that she was the only one who knows what she's thinking. There are just too many logical proofs to prove that she was being honest.

N/H and S/S fans are saying she's lying.

1. Either they hate Sakura and her confession is the perfect piece of evidence they need to bash and flame her even more than usual.
2. Their pairings depend on her lying so they obviously say she's lying even with there's proof that she wasn't.
3. They feel better with themselves saying she's lying.
4. They just hate her because they just do.

What really surprises me is that Hinata's confession ch 437 title is "confession" NOT Hinata's confession. Unlike 469 "Sakura's confession" even a title tells how important Sakura is to the main story. Besides I think everyone here agrees with me when I say that Sakura's feelings for Naruto play a key role in the main story.

You're right, there are to many obvious hints about N/S and it would have been pointless and just a big waste of space to just trow that away. Of course, I don't say that N/S will be absolutely 100% canon in the end but, it's seem to be directed that way.

Of course, like you mention soupy, there could be a chance that there is no official couple in the end but I doubt it. If that the case, I hope Kishi will make it plausible because, so far, the attraction between Naruto and Sakura is just to obvious (in my point of view and for other N/S fan like me )

Sakura feeling toward Naruto will be useful for future development, it won't be just for the fun of saying stuff out of nowhere. Sakura is the principal female heroine in the manga plus she's the one that can understand Naruto better ( she knew how he would possibly react if she had told him her intention to go kill Sasuke and, by seeing how it turn out, she was right). Naruto and Sakura have a mutual understanding for one another, they both can help each other at some point.

I just HATE when fan obsess fan (mostly Hinata's fan) bash Sakura. Sakura is selfless while Sasuke is just thinking of HIM. They just can't admit and except the fact that she a strong kunoichi that, even if it seem like a betrayal, took hard decision on behalf of Naruto and Konoha against Sasuke.

That person have the right to not like her but comparing her to Sasuke, is just an insult against the creator itself.

I guess its true what they say about the NF forum being full of N/H fans and Sakura haters. A member in that thread said "that he doesn't like Sasuke but don't compare him to a disgusting character like Sakura, even Inari has more value than her" ouch poor Kishi to have his heroine bash and flame just because she's the heroine and has more panel time than Hinata and she's the one Naruto will always love forever.

Anyway shockdragon the one who said that Sakura is the new Sasuke all I have to say is that this person has gone crazy apparently he has forgotten that Sakura is the heroine of the manga becoming like Sasuke means she's an antagonists so she won't be the heroine anymore . It's amazing what desperation waiting for your favorite pairing to actually become canon in the manga can do to one single person, imagine to millions of people?

I don't hate N/H pairing and I respect those who STILL believe in it. However, Those who drops low enough to bash an insult Sakura just for the sake of Hinata, those doesn't deserve respect. Of course, I won't drop in the same level as them by insulting them so, I'll just ignore it.

i looked at this and cracked up at this sasusakus are so delusional and this is why they think sasusaku is going to happen just want u guys to see what their thinking

have known a lot of people in my day that have lost faith in SasuSaku from events that have happened in the manga. The funny thing is, that no matter how bad the situation is, it gets better.

Many times those people come back to the fandom because they can't keep themselves away. Kishimoto constantly provides highs and lows for this ship, but through it all he has never really trolled it.

I know a lot of people are saying SS will be the next ship to be trolled, but the thing I find funny is that SS has been the ship that has looked the best for years. The worst things that we have had to put up with is the wait and the 'almost' situations where Kishi teases us. There was also a long period where some thought Sakura may have shifted her love to Naruto, but then Kishimoto went out of his way to show the readers that, no Sakura didn't stop loving Sasuke. If she hasn't already, she probably never will. Sasuke is still the one person that pushes her forward to take action and to change herself for the better.

This ship is defiantly the one that has had the most constant attention and focus. It's the ship with the most time that the people have been apart, and yet it's still the most likely ship to happen.

SS has had a lot against it over the years, such as distance and love rivals, but somehow it always pulls ahead and continues to grow. The only reason that it can after all this time is because Kishimoto obviously wants SasuSaku to go somewhere.

Let see there hasn't been any development or focus on S/S like in 200+ chapters. Sakura met Sasuke for the first time in 2 and half years and yet she didn't blush, cry or ran to his arms telling him how much she has missed and loves him. She looked more shocked and horrified to see him again and yet their reunion turned out a possible fight where both Naruto and Sakura would have been killed if it wasn't for Orochimaru who stopped Sasuke from unleashing a powerful jutsu on them. She hasn't event thought about Sasuke since the beginning of part 2 it was Naruto the one who was always thinking about him. She hasn't seen Sasuke since 309 and up until now she still hasn't seen him since then so how come there's development going on between them if they haven't see each other in a long time? The only development I have seen since part 2 started that even a 3 year old can see is between Naruto and Sakura growing closer and closer. From teammates to friends to best friends and now even closer than ever.

All I have to say is, is that person for real??? looks like N/H isn't the only drug out there S/S can be quite deadly and serious as its predecessor. Exactly...it still come to this point. NaruSaku have development ( gradually but safely) while SasuSaku have decline. The only thing that make them believe it is that Sakura haven't yet say that she no longer love Sasuke. As for Sasuke, it still come to this point, he's not interested and doesn't care.

As for the 'Sasuke is the one who is pushing Sakura forward and changing herself for the better', this statement is wrong. Her will to become stronger but especially to push her forward was because of Naruto and seeing him at the hospital after the attempt of rescuing Sasuke. She made that promise to Naruto that, from now on, she would help him. Of course, she was still 'useless' because, the second attempt to rescue Sasuke (this time with Naruto and Jiraya)she didn't do much and she still consider herself a burden to Naruto (even if he, at the end of the mission, told her that it was her courage that make him not lose his fight). This is, at this point, the first step in Sakura evolution. This wasn't only because she love Sasuke but also because she wanted to stop always relies on other and becoming stronger, for both Naruto and Sasuke. Before that, she had wish to become stronger but, it was always because she compare herself to Sasuke AND Naruto (and sometimes, it was ONLY Naruto).

Oop, forgot about that one ...then again, with SS and NH fan, they beleive that the confession was all fake so, they will say that this part was fake also.

What I mean by her saying that she no longer love him is by telling him in his face ( and by that, I mean a BIG punch in his face )

Now Sasuke is the one who changes Sakura to be a better person..
and its "Because SHE LOVES HIM" is better than "EVEN I CAN TELL HE REALLY LOVES YOU."
Here's a post from a NH fan

Sakura blew a fuse when Karui told her about Sasuke attaking another bijuu host, even after he had killed Itachi. That's when she started really considering the idea that Sasuke would need to be killed. Then Sai's guilt trip acted as a catalyst and she decided to put plan Kamikasakura in action.

Plan Kamikasakura involved "confessing" to Naruto, to get rid of the guilt Sai dropped on her, to then go die in a suicide bomber mission to kill Sasuke (knowing Sakura, I'd think her yet unrevealed plan would involve poisons and her infallible cunning skills).

I actually have no problem with the whole thing apart from the confessing to Naruto part. I like that she's trying to do something. She loves Sasuke and feels that it's her responsability to deal with him, she wants to put an end to his darkness with her own hands. That's actually an heroine mindset. Of course she doesn't stand much chance to actually kill Sasuke, but still, despite the suicidal part of it, her actions are noble. The guy she loves is turning evil, and she can't stand it, and she's resolved herself to die trying to stop him.

But Kishi decided that he would make her look like a b*tch. Even as a NH fan I really didn't wish this on Sakura. But as far as I'm concerned, NS died in 469, and the following chapters only confirmed my first impressions so really the only NS that Hinata needs to worry about is NaruSasu...

Or maybe Ayame... but after what Sakura just did, I definately don't want to see her end up with Naruto.

Really now I just hope that NH will happen in a nice way. Would be nice to see Naruto thinking about her more before the meet again, maybe even during his current passed out state. I expect some internal struggle/thinking/dreaming/comatose visions, and it would be nice to have it end with Hinata appearing and having a soothing effect on him. But that's most likely just wishful thinking.

No hard feelings NaruSaku'ers, but in my view, Sakura's confession killed your ship (without even needing to compare it with Hinata's).
