I can't believe this many people are still seeing the movie. I wouldn't give a crap if Kishimoto put a lot of NS in the movie, like he did with SasuNaru, I would never give that guy a cent, for the crap he allowed to happen.

I am guessing fangirls voted (apparently boy are too lazy to write and do things) for him and I don't know how they find him attractive when he is such a self obsessed selfish douche.

Oddly this is what a friend of mine said to me and he has two Theorys.

 

Theory 1: It's all an illusion, Naruto Gaiden with Boruto and The Last is actually everyone having a collective dream that has everyone trapped and killed or slowly dying.

Theory 2: Sasuke decided to have avenge his lost to Naruto at the end by subtly using his Sharingan to bring Sakura back to her fangirl days. Possibly even conspiring with Hinata so she can be happy, but the conspiracy part is not as likely as just taking Sakura since Naruto took the Hokage spot.

I think only Gai and Lee epitomize the message this manga was supposed to send....... "Anything can be achieved and overcome through hardwork" but meh...... Kishi probably forgot when he started his Uchiha wanking.

Not to mention they're a couple of the only characters who, as far as we know, are still the same, not having become hypocrites nor just gave up on their goals.
 

 

The thing is Naruto was suppose to become the greatest Hoake ever which probably means also strongest Hokage ever as well. Even with Kurama he was still suppose to get to the point by basically his own hard work. The reincarnation thing damaged it if not ruined it. And the kids just being given these abilities and being called born elites just makes it worse.

That is one of, if not the only good thing about post-ending Naruto stuff...the fact that we have yet to see anyone (as far as I know) actually call Naruto "the greatest Hokage (ever)".
 

 

And this is why Goku is awesome and Naruto sucks. When you look at the way Toriyama made Goku, and then look at the way Kishi made Naruto. The difference is huge. Goku always had to train to get the power that he has. On the other hand Naruto trained a bit then later on powers were just given to him and he just accepted them without questions or any complains.

Look at Goku in Battle of Gods; he needed power from the rest to fight Beerus but when he got that power he was happy that he could fight Beerus but at the same time he was disappointed that he couldn't achieve that power by myself.

There's also the fact that that training, at least by the Namek Arc (the gravity machine malfunctioning and going to 100 times Earth gravity without Goku knowing, then him continuing it after having felt it when he fixed the machine), becomes quite hellish, so when you see how much more powerful Goku, Vegeta, or others become after seeing what that training entails, you actually feel that they earned and deserve it after going through it all. Even when it came to Gohan's hidden power, at least that was foreshadowed since the very beginning while we were constantly reminded of it throughout the series up until the end of the Cell Games, so when Gohan first becomes SSj2, it does not feel like an asspull, because we knew it was coming and that it was becoming stronger along with Gohan himself.

And there's also the fact that, a number of times, even that hellish training is not enough.

 

Like, as powerful as Goku had become when he was revived by the Dragon Balls and fought Nappa and Vegeta, Nappa may have been easily owned by Goku, but Vegeta was still naturally more powerful than Goku, requiring Goku to use a triple Kaio-Ken, which was beyond his current limit, and even pushing it to four with a large Kamehameha, just to push Vegeta back at the cost of nearly destroying his body, but Vegeta just came back, and even after being hit by a (weakened) Spirit Bomb, he still came back for more until a transformed Gohan was made to fall on him. And even when Goku arrived on Namek (and after being healed when his body was beat up when it was swapped with Captain Ginyu), Frieza was still leagues above him, having been using not even a third of his full power, then instantly begins owning him with merely half of his power, even with Goku being in a ten times Kaio-Ken, and even when Goku uses a big Kamehameha with a twenty times Kaio-Ken, Frieza blocks it with one hand, only having a singed hand to show for it, and even a giant Spirit Bomb seemed to do little besides cut off the end of his tail and wound an eye. Goku was also shown to be weaker than Cell, merely fighting him first to allow Gohan to get a feel for how Cell fights so he could let him fight Cell, awaken his power, and win.

Same with Gohan and his hidden power. It was used more as a show of his potential rather than a deus ex machina to allow him to easily win fights. Up until Cell, it may have shocked/had an affect on the opponent, but the power in of itself hardly won the fight for the protagonists.

Because fanon is better than canon.

Normally speaking this should be the opposite but with Naruto it's a special case. A case where fanfiction is better than the canonical material that the writer well wrote.

I love the internal contradiction of the gaiden volume. Sakura states that Naruto is her best friend and yet they never talk and interact like the good old days. They don't help out each other when they are both feeling down with their lives. The shipping war is already over so it doesn't matter right... wait a minute it would make the official pairings even more dumber if they talk to each other cause it would expose how Sasuke and Sakura don't work and the natural chemistry Naruto has with her...

 

Kishi and the marketing can lie as much as they want about the official ending (notice how the VAs and the author  saying that narusaku is not logical but can't provide a logical argument and reasoning) but the way you write never lies...

Really Gaiden showed us that Naruto and Sakura are anything but close anymore. Why the hell would Naruto(or Kakashi for that matter) let Sakura leave the village pregnant?
