I thought you said you weren't interested in reading Tokyo Ghoul. But yes, it is quite a bloody and gory manga (but there are worse ones out there).
At first, yeah. When you guys talked about TG, I wasn't still uninterested to read it. Now I'm 100% preparing myself to read it after knowing my friend seems to be disappointed with its anime ending. Isn't it a good news? Me reading it, I mean

Well, that's good to hear ^^ The ending to the season 2 was beyond disappointing. Too much symbolic trash instead of conveying the sense of a tragedy (b/c that's how the manga ended). The drawing style is bad in the beginning, but it gets progressively better from chapter to chapter. You might think it is boring or slow-paced in the first fifty chapters, but after the Aogiri Arc it gets really good.

The buildup and characterization from the beginning becomes super effective when the biggest event comes in, ultimately making them worth every seconds, which is a huge win, which leads me to liking this series more than anything.
