actually  quite a number of casual fans were pretty uncomfortable with the ns bashing this guy implies. i'm quite surprised that some even listed obvious ns examples.. (i took the interview from the wsj forum) 

 

but they just let it go because they see no point in arguing when the manga is done.

Yeah. I had to decide between this one and another where Naruto sees the image of Team Seven shatter. Both are pretty accurate but I'm a Naruto fan first before Team Seven so..

 

I still have difficulty believing all that Team Seven drama of part 2 ended up being for nothing. No meaningful team interaction, no fighting together as comrades and no laughing together like they used to. Wasn't that supposed to be the most important part of this manga ? 

 

There are many things that highlight Kishi's incompetency but this one takes the cake.

And yet he says Sakura was his favorite female now  , but later he said it was Hinata  while doing a movie just for her and giving her everything while degrading Sakura even more     Oh! how he just loves Sakura you can feel it in the air    .

Exactly. So much emphasis on Team 7, so much emphasis on Naruto and Sakura saving Sasuke TOGETHER. And what do we get? Some glorified Goku vs Broli style fight where Sakura showed up at the end only to completely ignore Naruto.

 

Most of the neutral pairing fans I've spoken to, and some of the more casual NH shippers, agree that the ending was terrible and that it has ruined any reread value. But I honestly don't understand how hardcore NH and SS shippers can look at this ending and see anything but the myriad flaws, contradictions, and blatant retcons.

It's disrespectful for Kishi to treat his own work this way.
