It's pretty ironic that Naruto had that never give up thing and when we were told that Naruto loves Sakura because of rivalry, he gives up and go to Hinata, yet that is still giving up. In fact, he lost to Sasuke overall......

well he had a rivalry going on with toneri so he had to move on from sakura to hinata. if some guy tries to put the moves on 10 10, then naruto will have to move on from hinata to 10 10.

Jiraiya stayed in character and was true to himself the entire manga.
Jiraya is now my 1# favorite character.

actually quite a number of casual fans were pretty uncomfortable with the ns bashing this guy implies. i'm quite surprised that some even listed obvious ns examples.. (i took the interview from the wsj forum)
but they just let it go because they see no point in arguing when the manga is done.

Good point. I find it amazing to see how much they're trying to manipulate everyone that this is all planned and what not. Really, it comes off desperate. All I can think is if I was there, I would be like, "Hey, what time is Tokyo Ghoul talk?"

So Sakura never got her own arc because Kishi felt she wasn't popluar enough and no one was interested. Kishi write your manga how YOU want, and not based on popularity.

Well, I would never understand that, from point of character view, if men trying to abuse you, it's ok and it's love... But when nice guy trying to cheer you up and searching for response... it's naturally nothing? Just as it's what you deserve from everyone, or what?
