Yeah, I can see Sakura is her own character, not some copy of a joke that Kishi thought while bleeding out of his ass. I never thought that would be a useful skill to have, but I guess it is.

I guess Naruto also loved Ramen  bc Ramen wanted to be acknowledged  bc Ramen was just as him and bc Naruto saw was able to see deep into Ramen's soul for who he really was and admired his strength   he also loved Ramen's forehead    .

It even seemed as if Naruto was purposefully keeping her in the dark about his feelings because he couldn't keep his promises. 

 

Bottom line is, Naruto never confessed his true feelings to Sakura. He never even tried and besides, I thought that his love for her was just a superficial love spurned by his rivalry with Sasuke. So once again I ask you Kishi, which one is it? Either his love was true or it wasn't. You can't have it both ways.

Yeah we all read it wrong    Naruto asking Sakura on date was apparently him confessing his love all the time    That's why Sakura was crying when she found out that Naruto loves her like he loves Ramen  bc he made the same promise to eat Ramen  all the time  .

Yes his love for Hinata  was also bc of Ramen  Naru x Ramen is the true canon  .

I still remember, 12 years ago when i first heard 《NARUTO》animation's music『NARUTO Main Theme』. From that theme, it signifies the start of it all, and so I would have it signify the end of it all, this is the direction I had in mind for the film's scores. I especially like one particular dialogue, where Sakura tells Naruto: 「Because I like Sasuke, so you didn't want to lose to Sasuke, right? Looks like you are serious this time. 」I feel that this sentence in The Last is totally spot on, regarding the relationship between Naruto and Sakura.
 
Some people may still wonder, 「For Naruto, is Hinata really his first love? He always go after Sakura all day long........」. Regarding that, please rest assured that the film has a very in-depth portrayal of the topic. So in the end, the way Naruto like Sakura, it's about the same as he like ramen. Especially when the audience sees how Naruto reacted to his failed confession; he always went to sakura, and always get rejected, but he never get as dejected as portrayed in the film... And so, his feelings for Hinata and his feelings for ramen is different. That 「Love」has changed. That's why in my opinion Hinata is Naruto's first love, no doubt

Then it's clear this guy knows as much as that producer, who said the fights in the movie don't matter as long as the animation is good.

It's pretty ironic that Naruto had that never give up thing and when we were told that Naruto loves Sakura because of rivalry, he gives up and go to Hinata, yet that is still giving up. In fact, he lost to Sasuke overall......
