First, who animated the manga? SP?

Second, I stopped watching the anime after Franky joined Luffy, no, when they were about to meet the skeleton guy. After Franky joined Luffy. That.. what chapter is that? How many chapter I should catch up then?

1st Toei - kitten animation, but only after TS.

2nd Well, it's pretty long way to go, in manga it's around 460th chapters. So 300+ chapters to go.

I know what you mean, but they are friends, and Naruto was OP's highest competition. I guess it was the manga equivalent of giving a professional athlete a standing ovation at their last sporting event.

you can stop watching the anime after the sabaody archipelago arc, after that just stick to the manga.

I don't see how the situation is going to improve, period. The end is is here and Kishi/Pierrot are only pushing it more and more instead of recanting it like so many of us are hoping for. We can only hope that the movie tanks and Junko's example isn't limited to just the spawn, but Naruto himself as well. 

 

There are a lot of negatives about this situation to be sure. I may have chosen the wrong phrase to use there. What I'm trying to say is that I'm also hoping for more impact from the continued negativity towards the series' conclusion, and I remain hopeful that it will come.

 

(I'm really having trouble trying to express myself today. The words just won't come to me lol  )

The point is we still have a chance.. I understand if you gave up but i won't.

Oh... there is a chance to God to show tommorow, or to meteor to fall on the earth, all I say - just look at possibility of it. Surely if NH and SS with chanses about 0 became canon - anything is possible, but if it can be implied to almost 0 chances, is kinda makes sense that pobbibility of NS becaming canon with all it's development now equal to 0. I mean 0.0001 for them, goes to 99.9 and ours 99.9 goes to 0.

Well I don't know the chapter numbers, so yeah. Lol. Sorry. As for anime, it's Toei. They do like to make sure that the series is forever alive. Not necessarily means they will change the story, but they don't want breaks. That's about it. They're decent.

I got to say, the villains in there really makes you hate them so badly in different ways. One would be too cocky for his own rights with his cocky tone of voice like you want someone to freaking hit him. It's always satisfying when the hit actually happened, because Oda builds up the moment. I remember one normal non-fighter bad guy was just a prick in many ways, when Luffy did the unthinkable, I freaking yelled yes.

You know, I don't mind to be given number of chapter "prediction". 34-something, 35-something, arounf 100 to 200. 

 

Oh, I'm recalling. I liked Nami's fight with Usopp's device for her, that weather-changing-device. Oh, you're talking about villains not the fight, yeah

It's funny to me in little doses, but I'm not really a fan. One of the things Oda does, which I really like, is take real world problems and put them in his story. I think it's an interesting dynamic with Sanji, because it seems to me that the constant focus on him being a perv is seemingly a shot at the manga worlds affliction of "otaku's". I say that because Sanji always gets burned when he gets too perverted. If that wasn't the case, and Oda had no motive, I think Sanji would be more like Franky in terms of being perverted, i.e. much less up front about it.

i never saw it that way, all i saw was oda's attempt at using sanji's same old slapstick joke, much like how he does with usopp's constant diseases.

meh, Oda is a very good shonen mangaka, but in these recent years I lose my fondness for shonen genre. Now I prefer Seinen genre by far. The stories are more mature, have more sense, rarely there are stories for dumbabies, the designs are more beautiful, there is more cruelty and realism.

 

 

Shonen today are only fights and asspules. The only shonen that I can stand now are OP and HxH.

Fights are fun. But you need a good villain to care about the fight. It's all about the weight of fight. Why you think many people here was thinking, "Man, this fight sucks." It's like wrestling. You can have two great technical wrestlers going at it, but if there's no backstory, what's the point? You need a reason to care. It can be flashy for all they want, but without a point, it's nothing. Not to mention, two characters need to be charismatic. One Piece always have that. Mostly. It always feel like it's the last fight, which is why in the podcast, I kept begging Naruto to do one but it failed. Everyone here knows how much I want that last stand feeling. The more I talk about this series, the more I'm starting to like it.

This last chapter Rickert has shown that he has an incredible spirit, this is what makes Berserk characters so fantastic they are real relatable and their development is fantastically done, Miura knows a lot about human psychology and it shows. If you're not up to date with Berserk I advice to read the last chapters especially the last one there's a scene (the one in my avatar) which will make you love Rickert. As for Guts I don't think there's a better character in the whole history of manga the most badass character you'll ever see but at the same time so human. Miura is such a genius if only he could write a bit faster.

I agree, I read his one shot shonen manga. It really well written and it doesn't feel forced.
