Oh, I'm recalling. I liked Nami's fight with Usopp's device for her, that weather-changing-device. Oh, you're talking about villains not the fight, yeah 
Fights are fun. But you need a good villain to care about the fight. It's all about the weight of fight. Why you think many people here was thinking, "Man, this fight sucks." It's like wrestling. You can have two great technical wrestlers going at it, but if there's no backstory, what's the point? You need a reason to care. It can be flashy for all they want, but without a point, it's nothing. Not to mention, two characters need to be charismatic. One Piece always have that. Mostly. It always feel like it's the last fight, which is why in the podcast, I kept begging Naruto to do one but it failed. Everyone here knows how much I want that last stand feeling. The more I talk about this series, the more I'm starting to like it.
