yet we have really yet to see Hiashi reconcile with his daughter whether or not it is important to this plotline I think it is the central theme to Hinata,

perhaps it has happened off screen as it were but the fact that hiashi was traveling with hanabi during pain's invasion made it seem not to be.

I hate to disagree with you Catsi but she still has one major plot point remaining...

She should regain the status she lost when she became a shinobi, and again be the heir to the Hyuuga clan

Sai ((crafty bastard)) caught onto her deception though and held her up. Now well see where things go from here. Im almost certain Karin will be healed and saved. She has some plot relevance and as it was pointed out she didnt have the classic death remembrance that others have had, or had the graphic death scene like Kisame and Asuma.

So Sakura will more than likely save her.

what happens from there will be anyones guess.

Agreed in all fronts, Catsi. I am certain Karin isn't dead, and I also think Sakura will find her and save her.

IMO, Sasuke has again proved what kind of character he is: he has dwelt in darkness for ten years, and it has devoured him whole. Hatred is all he has known since he was a child and revenge is all he lives for. And even though he remembers it wasn't always like that, and part of him would like leaving his darkness behind, he simply can't.

Twice he has been offered the chance to forsake his feelings of loath and his craving for revenge, have a family again and being happy. Twice he has ultimately rejected the offer, right when he seems being accepting it. His hatred is too strong, and he can not or want not live without it.

I am not sure he can be saved anymore.

I respectfully disagree. It isn't a major plot point storywise, and it doesn't really need being resolved.

Hinata regaining her clan's head status isn' an important subplot, it doesn't fit in the current storylines and I don't see how it can be bring up without disrupting them. And I don't believe Kishimoto will do that when he has clearly stated she is a very minor character.

She seems happy and at ease in this scene. It looks like if she feels no more awkwardness towards her father or her cousin, so maybe they had been trying patching things up. Agreed, I am guessing, but I don't believe my speculation is too wild.

I don't think Hiashi traveling with Hanabi is necessarily a sign of they haven't reconciled yet. There is another possibility: He could have entrusted Hinata with handling the clan's matters during his absence.

Anyway, reconciliating with her father may be an important plot for Hinata, but it isn't for the story. And Kishimoto himself has said she is a secondary character and she isn't important to the story, so I don't think he plans wasting time with it.

Actually that is not Hinatas theme. her theme is working hard to be strong based on narutos inspiration. and never giving up. She has successfuly fulfilled that theme with her confession and thus has ended effectively her part of the story.

Yeah, that makes sense. Sorry, it really doesnt to me.
Karin was never important to Sasuke.
But, Sakura once was important.
Remember he said once "If you do that I cant forgive EVEN you"
But, im not saying that maybe SasuSaku has lost some of its possibility. But, doesnt mean all of it is gone and that Sasuke can't be brought back from darkness.
Everyone can be saved.
You just have to believe in them, give them faith, help them through it.
We all know Sasuke's mentally unstable.
But, anyways im not here to debate.
I never was a Karin "Fan" it is sad the way she died, but honestly I could care less.

That person believes if Sakura meets up with Sasuke he will become good again and fall in love with her and they will get together crushing Naruto's heart in the process since the poor guy has been in love with Sakura since ch 3. Last I check Naruto is a shonen manga not a bad cliche Disney movie.

Please, by thinking that way, this person clearly doesn't know Sakura at all. She's no longer the little fangirl but a strong woman and kunoichi. Plus, Sasuke is against everything she value most. GOD That why I hate about obsess fandom, they can't see Sakura real change of personnality and point of view when it come to Sasuke.
Just because she intent to face Sasuke doesn't mean that she'll proclaim her undying love to him and then will go on by helping him with his revenge against Konoha and after that, they will marry, have many Uchiha babies etc. Seriously, like you point Gravenimage, that would be like a bad cliche Disney movie

Kishimoto wanted her to become more the heroine and by doing that, it will be TOTALLY against that image (especially if that by doing that, she'll end up hurting Naruto)
She say so herself that she no longer want to make a mistake like the one that inflict so much pain from Naruto. Then again, by going alone killing Sasuke seem to me a REALLY BIG mistake to me (If she no longer want to hurt Naruto, getting in a suicidal mission will not help). However, she clearly doesn't think straight and is acting out of guilt for the pain she and Sasuke have cause to Naruto. In that case, I think that she'll need a wake up call by a someone that still have a rational view of the situation (and by that I mean Kakashi-sensei)

I think it was pretty obvious that she love him since she never intent to tell him the truth about killing Sasuke in the first place. However, I still think it pretty foolish of her to do so. Going on a suicidal mission will not help Naruto to free him from his pain, it will only make it worse.

Simple answer...he's just fooling around, like always. he answering the question by another question. This is so Kishi-ish
He seriously will not reveal something as big as Sakura changing of heart for Naruto. Beside, even if she still love Sasuke, that doesn't mean that she'll ALWAYS love him

It has said already stated, but it warrants be repeated: What makes you think Sasuke will fall madly in love with Sakura just because she loves him?

That person doesn't realize how easily that argument can be turned on his/her pairing, do him/her?

By the way, Sakura hasn't fallen in love with Naruto just because he loves her. But BECAUSE he loves her, he has been always by her side, understanding her and supporting her and protecting her. Thus, she fell in love with him.

On the other hand, Sakura hasn't done that because Sasuke. She hasn't been by his side, she couldn't protect him and definitely she didn't understand him. And Sasuke didn't appreciate her poor attempts.

And most definitely, Sasuke hasn't been always by Sakura's side, neither he has understood her, nor he has supported her. And sometimes he protected her because she was a teammate, but not because he was in love with her. And he has tried killing her twice, at least.
