Series like Naruto and One Piece can literally go to serious and comical from one moment to the next. The Marvel films can go through serious to witty and comical in the next scene. MGS does that and I think it works especially 3. I admit its a game series that requires a lot of patience from you and you should start from the first one btw.

The thing about part one Sakura, is that the anime kinda ruined her.
When I read part one in the manga, Sakura's development was obvious, because after each arc, she slowly came to be nicer to Naruto and not fangirl every second over Sasuke. Then, in the chunin exams her growth became very apparent, when she started supporting Naruto's dream, realized that she was no real ninja, but still willing to fight to protect her teammates, and wanting to beat Ino not merely because of Sasuke, but because Ino was someone she aspired to be like and surpass.
Sure, she still had her selfish love for Sasuke, but she was noticing more things and people than just him, like when she went to visit Lee in the hospital or when she was focusing on Naruto, during his fight with Neji, instead of just wondering about Sasuke. Not to mention her actions became less selfish, like when she was willing to run in front of Sasuke and Naruto, who were fighting on the roof and when she jumped in front of Sasuke, to prevent Gaara's attack from hurting him.
Her growth was natural and real in part one and the manga really showed it.
The anime on the other hand, hardly showed it at all. During the bench scene they added a moment of Sakura yelling at Naruto and calling him an idiot after she just promised she would be a bit nicer to him. During the wave mission SP edited out the scene where Sakura saved Naruto and what really made her development take a step back, were all those fillers. Because, all they showed were Sakura fangirling over Sasuke, beating up Naruto, and not caring about trying to become a real ninja, even though they happened after the chunin exams, where she started to get better in the manga.
That's why people are always saying part one Sakura was just annoying, because the anime did not portray her development properly and it looks like she didn't change, until part two finally rolled around. That's another reason why I dislike the anime, because it messes up the characters and is just too inaccurate to believe, so why even watch it, if it's not reliable? Part one Sakura may not have been the best character, but she was definitely not as bad as people are always making her out to be.
Sakura did that in the land of waves arc in the manga?
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

yeah, its really, REALLY cutscene heavy. i know thats its thing but for me, i just wanna play. gameplay wise its alright but i'd rather play splinter cell or any of the arkham games. story wise, yuck.
i have A.D.D. so me and overly long cutscenes such as mgs brings arent really ment to be XD when characters run on and on like they're lecturing you during a college course and telling you what to feel and what character represents what or symbolizes, it gets insulting for a while. kojima never heard of the term "less is more" or "brevity is the soul of wit" aka "don't waste my time"
oh and frack that one person who didnt get what that term meant and said "no...how can less be more? more is more!"

I don't normally like to post like this (usually I wait for a couple more post)... but I really got to thinking that this seems like horrible fanfiction. Why are Bolt and Sarada already these uber ninja's at age 12 despite doing nothing to earn these abilities? Is this suppose to be the true selling point now, that hardwork is no longer the moral but that you're just gifted at birth thanks to your heritage? And I don't get why Bolt is getting some much s*** talked about him being a brat when he has a legitimate gripe about Naruto doing nothing for him, he sends his clones that have a time limit to hang out with him instead of having the clone do all the work for how ever long his son wants to hang out with him. Of coarse I don't even understand where all this work is coming from, but w/e. Anyway this isn't even Naruto nor a sequel to Naruto, this is a story about OP children who have pretty simple problems that shouldn't even exist in the first place to add tension and drama. Talk about running out of ideas, at least DBZ opened up suspension of belief to actually return properly back on the scene unlike this nonsense
Bolt is not as OP as everyone thinks he is
He has to rely on a technology devicce to beat Shikadai and a random cloud ninja in the chuunin exams
And these small moments gave the false perception that Sakura is a selfish kitten while Hinata is a sweet adorable selfless girl that is meant for Naruto.
When in reality it's the opposite Sakura is the sweet and selfless girl that always stood by Naruto's side, while Hinata is a selfish kitten that never cared about anyone around her. Her cousin died, and the only thing she could think about was Naruto's hand. Yeah such a sweet girl.
SP turned truth into lie and lie into truth.
Truth is, in the beginning of part 1, Sakura is a selfish fangirl, there is no way around it. Thing is the anime reinforced it even after she had her developments in the manga. In the manga Sakura was not that much of a selfish fangirl after the chuunin exam, she actually considered Naruto as a valuable teammate and a precious friend.
Also in the original manga, Hinata first appearance was back in the chuunin exams together with the rest of the rookies, which means that basically she was only created in that arc

Yeoppps, it was definitely surreal. And I do admit that I was pretty much: AH! Franzosi Traditorihhh!!! ('scuse the butchered italian here) and I swear to God I raised an eyebrow as much as I could and snorted. Loud. So loud people turned to stare.
I'd rather have a Sailor Moon themed credit card.
.....actually I would love a Sailor Moon themed credit card.
In a perfect world a massive epidemic would raze (again) Konoha-ville to the ground. With Himawhatevs and knitting-mommy dearest as the first victims. Goodbye, oh cruel world!

But they were all of them deceived, for another canon was made. In the land of Japan, in the fires of Studio Pierrot, the dark Lord Kishimoto forged in secret a master canon, to control all others, and into this canon, he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One canon to rule them all.

Yes, when zabuza first attack she had drag Naruto down in order to duck zabuza first attack. I didn't think that the anime edited it out but it been years since i watched that part.

that wasnt Hinata, it was only a random civilian Kishi decided to sketch
In the chuunin exam Kishi (to save himself from further work) decided to use his old design for one of the rookies, so Hinata was created there

True but Sakura from the start started to show her true self around Naruto. As time went on she blossomed into an amazing person, just like Naruto. Until someone decided to axe them both.
Really? Then I'm still convinced he never planned NaruHina.
Of course he never planned this.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.

Sorry that you have ADD (its really a kitten). I understand Kojima tends to go overboard with details and length of cutscenes but Japanese gamers tend to appreciate being passive. Maybe it would be better if you watch a play through instead of playing the game (I admit its actually more fun to watch than to play) by dividing each viewing into 25 minutes episodes and its really enjoyable. You could also watch fans who edit the slow and frustrating parts of the game. Japanese anime and series tend to go on and on with exposition and kinda telling their feelings even the critically acclaimed One Piece and even Naruto. Its true that characters will tend to tell how something works but a lot of things they say could have loads of interpretations with images that could enhance and create even more depth.
