That's also for the manga not a movie, I would not complain but neither would I be happy because I would made me think that this movie was only gave fanservice to NS because later the story would end NH/SS, what I appreciate the most is that he focus a lot on thier bond it let me think that Kishi feels that romance is about understanding and not wanting to be with someone you don't know or connect with. Naruto the 3rd movie was also hinted that Sakura will go far for the person she cares about the most.

That might be Kishi's own style of writing romance. Naruto and Sakura's relationship has always been about how they slowly start to understand each other and as it happens more their relationship gets stronger.

That's probably also why Kishi made Sakura's confession create tension between her and Naruto. She tried to do everything by herself and not be completely open with Naruto about the situation so her plan was bound to fail because of that. The next time Naruto and Sakura are open with their feelings it will be in a scenario in which none of them have any other motives apart from their own emotion. Kishi will show how things can go positively different in that kind of situation.

With AU Sasuke being a playboy, much to Sakura's shock, and with AU Hinata claiming Naruto is "her man" it seems Kishi used this opportunity to make a parody out of SS and NH.

Naruto: please take care of Sakura-chan, in other words she could be unconscious, hurt or unable to move freely and Naruto wants to make sure she is ok before he run off to the final enemy and asked Itachi to take care of her, who knows I will not pay much attention to the ItaSaku stuff.

because the movie does not ship thheir pairings it's just comic.
the movie is focused on naruto and sakura relationship and parental love.

.... I'm not actually an ItaSaku fan, it's literally nothing but a crack pairing. But I still think said scene could produce funny results, if only for a moment.

I probably won't since it will most likely be in a more serious setting, but I'm in the movie for Naruto's family, quality time with Sakura, and the pure comedy gold that is bound to come. Nothing else worries me. XD

So yes, I would like to see this random ItaSaku moment or any other random pairings that will pop up. Will AnkoNaru be next?

Yeah, those are good points, and kind of what I figured after thinking on it for a while -- Waiting to see what's actually there is for the best, and to just keep in mind that a lot of stuff from that summary is missing. Thanks guys.

ItaSaku is somewhat popular in both Japan and the west. It's not up there with sasusaku and narusaku but I believe it may actually be more popular in Japan than naruhina (forgot the order of the most recent rankings) Heck, I can see the appeal of itasaku if you take into account Itachi's true self. Looks like Kishimoto was giving the itasaku shippers a brief fanservice- maybe a nod to them that he thought they were on a better track understanding romance than the naruhina or sasusaku shippers.

Remember Naruto also hid something very important from Sakura (The information they learned about Itachi that Sasuke had just found out recently too- huge game changer and Naruto just clammed right up with no problem when Kakashi said to keep it from anyone, including Sakura who had a right to know. This might have made Sakura change her plans in a better way if she had found out.)

I feel bad for Sakura but...

I knew it wasn't going to be Sakura going all swoony. This confirms it. Remember we saw her glaring at Sasuke along with Naruto and Chouji already. There's even a hint in the dialogue of the tension undercurrent. He pours on the charm- heck maybe he even uses a bit of genjutsu on her as he says those words- note we do not see his eyes when we see Sakura's demeanor change to being a bit flattered.... It's not that sucessful though, as soon as she sees him with the girls fawning all over him she's totally done with this Sasuke.

Just fanservice as has been said. Not quite as blunt as the set down given to naruhina but it's still unmistakable a blunt "Not gonna happen kiddies".
