So can someone remind me what the hell was the whole point of 693 if Kishi was just going to make NS canon anyway?

 

That's like letting someone win in a video game and then slapping the kitten out of them. Really nobody comes out winning.

Add more drama, clear Sasuke's feelings on the subject to stop with that SS bs about hidden feelings and make Sakura have a "proper" rejection.

Naruto might as well forget about the promise he made to Sakura and just confess to her already.

 

At this point it might be better for Sakura to confess to Naruto. After everything that had happened, I wonder if Naruto will even confess. After the whole sasuke <- sakura <- naruto thing, if Sakura confesses to naruto, then it removes all doubts of the "sasuke doesn't like me i'll have you" thing.

She was already rejected though....Sakura's character suffers so much because of this. In fact this contradicts the entire point of the "we'll do it together" now she just gives up on helping at all. She literally goes on a rant of herself about how pathetic she is before getting tossed aside. Also a massive missed opportunity because having Sakura cheer Naruto on against Sasuke for once would have been a nice way to make things go full circle.

I'm pretty sure Naruto is going to confess since it was already foreshadowed...

 

If he's not going to confess, the only thing that can really happen at this point is him changing his mind about it (on panel) for some reason.

That would be good if Kishi wasn't intentionally trying to make all the pairings look null and void for the sake of keeping it a surprise.

the silver medal thing has kind of been inevitable for a while now anyway. Kishi would have to have Sakura say Naruto is her first choice directly and even then I'm not sure I would buy it at all, considering how these past few years have gone down.

Nope,simply saying a statement does not negate all that has happened so far/done untill now.

True. Ideally the moon is about to end and there's one last mission. Sakura kisses naruto since they're about to die and she finally confronts her feelings just before their suicide mission. I hope there won't be any spoken confessions. Kind of an unspoken, maybe if we make it out of this alive kind of thing in the heat of the moment, but light.

At this point a kiss and a selfless act from Sakura would be the only way to redeem narusaku. No more confessions, especially from naruto.

I really want to see Sakura do something selfless for naruto, like putting his life before hers in a moment of danger.

All I want from the manga end is for Sakura to finally get over sasuke romantically. Then the time skip can do the rest.

Or kishi can just make Sakura still romantically like sasuke after she wakes up, which would just end narusaku.

the silver medal is a lie, there is no such thing, if she really loved Sasuke, then she wouldn't have fallen for Naruto. People use that sliver medal thing and it's annoying, it's not even correct, it's just another way from them to bash. (Both sides really, since some of you guys use it on Hinata)

I just don't understand why people would expect Sakura to confess.

Naruto has never, ever let out his feelings for Sakura to her, other than by making date requests. Sai's flashback shows that he's been holding in love for an incredibly long time, feeling unworthy to express it until he keeps his promise.

This is the same guy that would say that Sakura is something like his girlfriend, fully knowing what she feels for Sasuke. If you want NS to happen, I would bank it on Naruto's confession.
