it's weird but all sakuras thoughts on sasuke were all fake

I believe she let go of Sasuke ever since he rejected her and left her on the bench when he left Konoha. She knew he wasn't going to come back because she poured her heart and soul into her confession at least that's what she thought since her love for him was selfish and artificial to begin with. The only reason she didn't gave up hope on Sasuke its because of Naruto's never ending determination to bring him back to the village, that motivated her to make herself become a strong and better person vowing to protect both of them and the same reason she went to Tsunade to train her. But little by little she let go of Sasuke completely along with those fake feelings that is if she still had some lingering feelings for him. However I can't say the same with her team bond with him she cares about Sasuke because he's her teammate and friend a member of team seven that bond can't be taken away by anyone or anything that's what Kishi has showed us and what bonds is all about. Juts like the sanin and I believe ciardha had mentioned it before that the sanins had a powerful team bond.

Even if Orochimaru became all twisted and evil both Jiraiya and Tsunade still cared for him on the inside and they still saw him as their third teammate. A perfect example of this was when they announced to Naruto and company that Orochimaru has been killed by Sasuke. The expression in their faces clearly said that they were sad and they were secretly mourning the death of their teammate.

Yeah, there is a parallel in the relationships between Sakura/Sasuke and Sasuke/Itachi.

Sakura's whole outlook was determined by her false assumption of Sasuke's feelings, actions, etc. It helped shape the course of her life.

I don't think anything will come of this parallel - this is not a connection the characters need to take action on or resolve, like the bench scene - I just think it's interesting to note. To me it's another invisible, or rather unacknowledged, tie in their teammate bond.

Like T and J still mourning the death of their lost teammate O (as posted above). There are things that his first teammates would understand and have sympathy for because of their childhood bond, that his adult teammates prolly wouldn't care about.

You're right Naruto wants to bring back Sasuke for team seven and to fulfill his promise to Sakura for her happiness so she can be with Sasuke because he loves her. Sakura wants to bring Sasuke back for Naruto because she knows how much Sasuke means to him she wants to see him happy obviously the reason she's doing this it's because she loves Naruto. Now she has no choice but to break her promise and go after Sasuke since he has become a hug threat anyway I hope Naruto and Sakura talk things out.

there is also the fact that...well i know a lot of NH fans would simply dismiss it, Naruto and Sakura in part 2 have shown a lot of cases of boyfriend/girlfriend material...heck the manga already gave them like what? 10 dates?

I've seen the claim those weren't dates because Sakura got mad that one time when Naruto asked if it was a date when Sakura came to get him for the meeting with Tsunade. (when they find out Sasuke has killed Orochimaru) The claim is that meant Sakura was still refusing Naruto any dates.

Never mind the reason she was mad was: he forgot they had a meeting with Tsunade, they were late, and he was still in his pajamas. Never mind in 343 Sakura was planning on turning one of their casual dates at Ichiraku's into something a lot hotter before Sai and Kakashi interrupted. Even Naruto, as deep in denial about how Sakura's feelings had become a lot more romantic for him, was able to pick up on Sakura's mood and get a bit excited.

I knew this was going to happen Sakura wants to fight Sasuke alone but luckily Sai will stop her buying enough time for Kakashi to catch up to the group I am looking forward to this chapter. Anyway I think I have a pretty good idea what Sakura is up to, she confessed to Naruto and now she wants to fight Sasuke on her own S/S fans are probably cheering in victory for their pairing becoming canon which its a complete mistake and stupid to think like that. The real reason someone smart like Sakura already knows she doesn't stand a chance against Sasuke so what will be her best strategy to beat him?

The answer a suicide move. I think Sakura is planning to kill herself and take Sasuke with her therefore the two people who caused Naruto pain will be gone for good. It makes perfect sense why Sakura would confessed to him when she knew very well that Naruto wasn't going to give up in chasing Sasuke. It was better to tell him that she loves him now before she dies taking the traitor with her. I believe Sakura can't live with herself for causing Naruto so much pain for giving him the burden of the promise of the life time and its currently killing her on the inside. She never intended to hurt him in the first place so she wants to make things right, at least she believes her way is the right way.

Hopefully Sai will convince her that her plan isn't the right way or Kakashi will convince her. She obviously doesn't know that killing herself along with Sasuke will inflict more pain on Naruto than the one she believes she gave him with the promise. It's not guilt what she's feeling its heart ache giving Naruto pain is shattering her heart constantly. If I'm right I think it won't be long before Kishi closes the so called team seven love triangle and show the canon pairing of his manga.

I officially and happily declare SasuNobody is canon. Honestly I can't imagine Kishimoto hooking up Sasuke with someone else after drawing one scene where he stabbed one woman has liked him and has supported him and left her behind afterwards.

I guess some fans think these chapters support SasuSaku. I don't get that. After what he has done, do you truly believe he and Sakura will get together?

Then again, some fans thought Sakura would beat Naruto up if he failed in retrieving Sasuke.

Then again, some fans thought Sakura would eternally pin after Sasuke.

Then again, some fans thought Sakura and Karin would fight for Sasuke's love (I have absolutely no idea of why they wanted seeing that).

Then again, some fans thought Sakura would meet Sasuke again back when he was fighting Deidara and would repeat her confession.

Then again, some fans thought Sakura would kill Naruto if he attacked Sasuke.

Then again, some fans thought Sakura would side with Sasuke "when" he invaded Konoha.

With 480 it will be 44 chapters since Hinata's confession like I said Kishi closed off N/H at 450 with Hinata smiling at the N/S intimate hug.

As i told some one who asked a similar question on yahoo answers. Hinatas confession will more than likely not be brought back up again except maybe in peripheral conversation between Naruto and Sakura and in context of naruto and Sakuras confession between each other.

Her story and plot points are done and taken care of and she has no further relevance to the plot that i can conceive of.

as for Sakura It seems ive been right so far. Shes done evrything possible to protect Naruto including lying to him about the rookies decision to kill Sasuke.

im even reasonably confident that had Naruto agreed she would have gone back with him. her goal was to protect him and thus with him being with her in Konoha hes protected. But he turned her down and so she took the next step to protect him which is removing the threat itself.

Sai ((crafty bastard)) caught onto her deception though and held her up. Now well see where things go from here. Im almost certain Karin will be healed and saved. She has some plot relevance and as it was pointed out she didnt have the classic death remembrance that others have had, or had the graphic death scene like Kisame and Asuma.

So Sakura will more than likely save her.

what happens from there will be anyones guess.

Sakuras confrontation may occur later rather than sooner. it appears if im not mistakent that it will take place after Narutos kyubi training or quite possibly during Sasukes attack on Konoha. Maybe even during Naruto and Sasukes final battle.

I hate to disagree with you Catsi but she still has one major plot point remaining...

She should regain the status she lost when she became a shinobi, and again be the heir to the Hyuuga clan

not really while it is a valid point its one that can be done off screen as easilly as on. Its also completely irrelelvant to the current goings on.

in point fo fact that particular point was all but dealt with in the first chunin exams when Neji and Hiashi forgave eahc other.
