Seriously, don't just assume things

 

 

Oh, and Root A had plenty of diverging points which result in small-middle big changes (Kaneki doesn't go Kakuja against Amon, fights or doesn't fight against Arima, the while Kanou mansion arc doesn't happen...) and as i said it earlier, that is what makes it far superior to other diverging animes (like FMA, urgh).

 

Those diverging didn't really changed anything, the fights for example, pratically the same with the same outcome

 

And I'm not assumint, its not farfetched to say that Pierrot would has changed things. They did  quite a poor job with animating this season, they also did a awful job and keeping censorship acceptable. This last fight really couldn't be left open since it shows development on Kaneki's side, and they made it such way that the ending ended up ambiguous. I can't see really the point of wasting time with Touka running doing nothing and three wasted minutes on the Kaneki walk.

 

I could understand if the ending as alternate or something like that. But we got pratically the same on from the manga but without a lot of details.

 

We got basically a movie trailer for the manga.

25 chapters and still ongoing. I know you're doing it but to everyone who believed that they don't need to read manga so they can go to :re, read the manga. It's night and day. It's reading one shot vs serialized edition of the same name difference.

It begins in the first season

 

--SP rushes the story and ends up making the season lose important plot points from the manga

 

Ishida was unsatisfied with how it happened and then he drafted a new route for the second season since an true adaptation would be impossible in 12 episodes and due to SP first season mistakes but I really doubt SP followed this route to the letter

 

In the second season

Kaneki goes to Aogiri instead of going to his own group but thsis has little effect on how the story goes except for being an excuse for the lack of Kaneki

 

--SP makes bad animation and relegates the freaking MC to the background.

 

--Shows things that have no follow up and will remain  without follow up without a season 3.

 

but overall the season was decent (not compared to the manga of course) ...until the ending

 

--They make changes just for the story to end in almost the same way of the manga but without half of its badassery, what they did was make Root A basically a trailer for the manga, and worse they even lost time with pointless scenes like Kaneki 3 minutes walk and Touka endless running ). They cut out one of the best and more impactant parts of the ending probably because of the huge amount of censoring it warranted, meaning they have no balls

 

 

--I heard they put a short film director to direct the anime. This would explain all the exaggerated symbolism that was presented in this season when season 1 was a lot more straightfoward even though it was rushed. TG is known for the symbolism but this season took it up to eleven, seriously.

--Made Ryo upset by killing of her favorite character and Kaneki barely even reacting about it that when you see Kaneki, you get mad while feeling for Hide and also made Ryo upset

I checked wiki and animenews network. He'd an oscar nominated director, but has only directed a few animes... Imao, too much symbolic nonsense that gave a wrong impression about TG's true ending.

Like literally, what the kitten just happened? Absolutely nothing made sense in that episode. Nothing. SP is so garbage. They spent like 5 minutes showing Kaneki just walking with nothing happening. i hope the japanese hate SP. I really do.

Like wrestling, just because you hired someone who's good at one part doesn't mean they would be for another. Give them their main perk or their "style," because doing that would only hindered his/her skills.
