Some people really don't change. :/ My ex (who is still my friend) just broke up with someone earlier this week that she'd been with for over a year. In the same week (today, actually) she got in another relationship. I'm sorry, but that's just kittening outrageous, especially considering that's exactly what she did with me that she claims to have learned not to do. It irks me that she's still making the same mistake after what happened last time she did this. The good news is that if she screws up again, I won't have to be involved this time. The bad news? I feel sorry for the person she just broke it off with this week, and she's still a friend of mine that's being incredibly impulsive.

Wow. I have/had a friend like that too. We don't speak anymore cause we got in a huge argument.. We were friends when you and I had that long talk that night (that may or may not of been about that said person you mentioned above??), but apparently.. I caused some stuff to stir her in the other direction cause we had different opinions, but anyway - she's exactly like that too. Uuuugh, it's so disappointing I know how you feel. I always feel bad about the people she breaks it off with, then the people she "gets it on" with (no pun intended.) cause it'll happen to them too. Then, I feel bad cause I'm also her friend.. and friends should stick by others opinions, even if they're not always right, right? From my experience... it's best just to keep quiet and secretly shake your head about their behavior :/ Otherwise... they may go haywire on you. Unless you really don't care anymore that is and just want to let your opinions about their behavior fly no matter what the consequences are XD But that's just my opinion, i've done both, but everyone probably has a different reaction.

And yes, that conversation we had was about the exact same person. She doesn't seem to learn too well... :/
I've tried the "secretly shaking my head" thing, and I still do it really. But I got to the point where I told her, "look, I'm your friend, and I'm trying to warn you that you're making a huge mistake". She didn't listen, of course, but hey, at least I gave it a shot. I just got sick of standing by and watching, I guess.
It could be worse, I suppose... She could be sexually active to top it all off. I guess I should be glad that she isn't, but really, it's a small compensation after a while. She's not a "whore", per se, just a relationship whore. If that makes sense.

EDIT: This is just an extra little tidbit about my recent life that I find belongs in my blog: I've had an obsession with Five Finger Death Punch. Had their last 2 albums on pretty much constant replay for the whole week (their 1st album would be included in this, but I couldn't find it in the store).
