Random thought: why are websites spoiling the twist in Captain America: Winter Soldier for non-comic book audiences with no warning of spoilers? I knew the "twist" already, but it's just surprising to me that they would.

The media from Marvel is doing the same thing. One of the special features in the Thor: Dark World blu ray was an inside look in Winter Soldier and BLAM there it is..... I was like, really?

I'm gonna watch it again, but the only things I didn't like in Captain America: Winter Soldier were super nit-picky things, like some of the flame effects in the film's climax.

Man....both Winter Soldier and Spider-Man 2 were AMAZING. And yes, if you know your Spidey, THAT moment happens...

Even though I know, I think it'll still be impactful. Especially since I heard their chemistry is one of the standouts in this film.

Wow. Edgar Wright leaves Ant Man.

I'm betting it's because Marvel wanted something more serious than what he was cooking up.

Which is a shame, because Edgar Wright is really fun with action. That fight in the bathroom in "The World's End" was so great.

Yeah, I agree. He puts great detail into his action and goes a little over the top to juxtapose his dramatic stuff he's able to fit into a comedic script. Again, I think the issue here is he's too tongue and cheek for Marvel at this moment.
In other news Drew Goddard is leaving the Daredevil/ Netlix project. I wonder who's next in line. I think the Marvel Knights and street level heroes make a lot of sense as a tv/ netflix series.

Saw X-Men: Days of Future Past. Probably one of the best X-Men films to date. Depressing as hell, though.

Yeah, the future stuff especially, but the shambles Xavier and Lensher's relationship starts off at is as well. But the ending is hopeful at least. For fans too as a reset of sorts. That kid at the end though, he's a bit skinny, yeah?
