Man that was so awesome. He didn't even take of his robe. I don't know if Yama is a sadist or something cause damn did he massacre Allon. I don't think Nadegiri is a shikai attack but rather a kendo move. Once Yama does it you see Allon gets sliced in half.

Yama has mastered sword techniques and sheathed it faster than Allon could even see.

Also some of the best artwork I've seen in a while in this chapter. Really well done. Yama-jii is so bad ass XD

Geesh, Yama hardly broke a sweat...although I guess that's expected. He really layed the whooping on that Allon. He isn't called Commander General of the Gotei 13 for nothing. Now with that out of the way, I wonder how Apache, Sun-Sun, and Mila-Rose are going to do...seeing as they're each missing an arm.

Ah! Finally it seems like we'll be getting to the battle between Ichigo and Ulquiorra! Can't wait till next chapter, this is exciting! Anyway, boy did Hitsugaya get his ass whooped there and Stark is #1! I am also looking forward to his battle against Kyoraku. I wonder who is going to die during the war though, perhaps Hitsugaya.

Same here. I've always thought he was Primera on account of his seeming non-interest in the things currently going on. I did think Halibel was second, though, if only because Barragan (sp?) was too much like Nnoitora in attitude ("Strong am I, See how strong I am") and that always spoke of "not being powerful enough" for me.

Randomly: Halibel is so hot. I wish she shows more power to the point where Hitsu will need help, though. If Arrancar are Hollows that have overcome the power limit that Hollows and Shinigami have, I wish the power difference would actually show. Then the Vaizards can have the spotlight, haha!

LOL! Well, I guess instead of a zipper up, the animators can move the number to her upper breast and make the zipper for top-to-bottom. I wonder what's up with women being 3rd. Guess Nnoitora's attitude against Halibel might be residual hatred not only on her gender but also on her position.

I don't know about Nel and Ulquiorra being Vasto Lordes. We've seen them both fight. There should have been some hint at least, if they were, I think.

This chapter was really good. I liked the revealing of the Espada's ranks. Halibel being the #3 rank must have an interesting connection with Nnoitora since that position holds a lot of venom with him especially since females have held the rank. Barrgan being #1 would make sense since old men = more powerful, but I think Stark taking that spot is great as well.

Yama-jiji, really is awesome. His tone and way of speaking is just so wise and grotesque since he can be condescending in such a calm demeanor.

^This page was intensely epic. Even if its just a plain white background just by the shading you can feel the power of his zanpaktou. Really well done.


I know Kubo is just dying to draw some hentai. XD Still though Halibel was drawn well and has a good overall appearance. The hollow mask going down to her chest means she hasn't reached full humanoid appearance so I'd say she isn't a Vasto Lord. Stark seems to have the least amount of a hollow appearance so I'd lean towards him possibly being a Vasto Lord.

Also Captain Shota's Bankai gets destroyed yet again. Halibel totally made my day when she called him a 'brat' Though the power of the fangirls will more than likely make him win. I hope Kubo does try to make this a realistic fight as he can by adding someone else. I figure Shunsei will get help from Ukitake when fighting with Stark.

And we return after a six month hiatus to Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra! Looks like Ulqui was the first one to draw blood. It only makes sense since Ichigo could only take on Grimmjow after putting on his mask. I'm curious to see how he will actually defeat him. I hope we see another route besides "Don't die Kurosaki-kun!" That gets really annoying. I'm hoping we either have a new skill or a Shirosaki reappearance (which I would so love to see!). Either that or a nakama power up with the rest of his friends. I wonder how they would react to seeing his mask since only Orihime has seen it in action. It be cool to see.

Overall a really great chapter and I look forward to next week!

The pervert in my heart was a little bit miffed when Halibel finished unzipping her... um... top-thingie? But with God as my witness, I swear I shed a happy tear from the sheer awesomeness that is Yamamoto-Genryūsai Shigekuni. He really made the last two chapters for me, and at the end of this chapter I was left with the feeling that all fights left from now on will be positively epic, although I admit I want to see Ichi in action again soon.

I can't wait for next week! ^^

Halibel is awesome, but her face scares me a little. I hope she wins, to be honest. I don't like Hitsugaya much.

Yamomoto is perhaps the single greatest Super Old Guy of all time. Letting people live with horrible burns instead of just killing them because he appreciates their spirit... Damn.

And finally, we get to the meat and potatoes of the series, aka Ichigo. After everything Ulquiorra has put him through, and all of the crap that Nnoitorra was spouting while kicking Ichigo when he was down, I hope he finally gets a chance to shine again. I don't like it when the main character gets shafted so badly. At least, when I actually like the guy.
