I second that lulz. Now, while I think Carolina might do a nice whoopin, I still have to root for my Cardinals. Maybe, just maybe, Hell will have frozen over once again and we make it to the NFC Chapionship.

If AZ plays like they did last week then they have a good shot. Carolina leans on their run game and Delhomme has had some pretty poor games, so if the jake shows up, then you're set. Because their defense is a bit suspect.

Not necessarily. Jake could have stayed home when they played Tampa. DeAngelo Williams has been running all over defenses the entire second half. And if speed doesn't work, they have power in Stewart. Two guys more than capable for running over 100 yards. Together they had over 2,300 yards rushing and 28 TD's.
Jake's okay, but what makes him great and what Atlanta didn't have is Steve Smith. If they don't doube him he can kill them and if they do, then that's another defender that's not upfront to stop DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. Focus on run and Smith can kill you.
I pick Carolina (obviously). Arizona has been primarily a home team (6-2, and 2-5 on the road) and Carolina is 8-0 at home, though it pains me to root against Arizona since I personally know one of their receivers, Jerheme Urban. He was my suitemate in college...and I hate to see his team lose.
Other than that.... Ravens over Titans, Steelers over Chargers and.... Eagles over Giants (this one is reluctant as hell, since I never know which NY team (the first or second half) or which Philly team (the one that pasted the Cowboys or the one that tied Cincy and layed an egg in Washington in week 16) will show up.

That issue with the play clock running out and the officials not calling it out. Though it was a mistake, the Titans really should have converted on all their other opportunities they had and just turned over in the red zone. And the penalties as well really worked against them as well as Chris Johnson getting injured (though so did Terrell Suggs so it some what evens it out).
Flacco isn't a great quarterback, but he's playing mistake free and that's whats needed to win. Don't turn over the ball and let your defense force turnovers. Good match, and now Cardinals vs. Panthers time.

There's a lesson to be learned here: Don't turn over the damn football.
It's amazing they lost by only 20. 5 INTS (at least two in the endzone) and a fumble. Same deal with Tennessee. Baltimore should have lost, but anytime they got near the end zone Tennessee turned it over

Baltimore:13 Tennessee:10
Arizona:33 Carolina:13
Philadelphia:23 New York:11
Pittsburgh:35 San Diego:24
Baltimore Won and that all that matter at the end of the day. But at the same time, Tennessee shot themselves in the foot, they missed plenty of opportunities. Of course against that defense, youre bound to turn the ball over.
Arizona put a whooping on the Panthers, but just like I said the Panthers defense is suspect, though give them a pass, Larry fitzgerald is tough to deal with. And bad Jake did show up, and hes the main reason the Panthers didnt get a decent chance. However Arizona's defense isn;t as soft as everyone thought.
Philadelphia didn't what they basically did the last time they won. They atteacked the run game and put the ball in Eli's incapable hands. And now they will try to keep Plaxico because they are just not going to win another championship without someone to pick up Eli's slack. Donovan however proved hes still the best QB in the NFC East. Hes worked with average WRs his whole career but he prevails. And this Eagles Defense has been playing lights out. Asante Samuel is the best corner in the league also.
Pittsburgh knocked off San Diego but it sucks that the chargers are always hurting late in the post season. Two straight years L.T. couldnt play in their second playoff game and its asking to much for Sproles to be a feature back.

NFC Championship Game:
#6 Philadelphia Eagles @ #4 Arizona Cardinals 3:00 PM EST
AFC Championship Game:
#6 Baltimore Ravens @ #2 Pittsburgh Steelers 6:30 PM EST
My picks are Philadelphia over Arizona, because im a homer. Also they have the best defense in the NFC.
And Pittsburgh over Baltimore, because Pittsburgh wont mess up as much as the Titans.

But it means nothing should they lose to Arizona. I'll worry about the Super Bowl later, the Cards can't be overlooked.
Anyways im going with Philly Over Arizona, and Pittsburgh Over Baltimore
Win Eagles, for the love of god please WIN

Arizona V.S Philadelphia
Prediction: Ever heard the phrase "Defense wins Championships"? Well this game will be decided by defense. So expect it to be a "Pitchers duel".. very little offense. But none of these teams will want to turn the ball over, if they do they will pay. But who will pay the most? Now lets compare the 2 games, almost every time Arizona got the ball back by turning it over, Kurt Warner and the offense made it in the form of points. Now the eagles, they sure made the giants turn the ball over, but they don't really translate it into points. This is why I think Arizona is going to win this game. Both really good teams, Arizona is a little better. :cookie:
Score: Arizona 17 Philadelphia 14
Pittsburgh V.S Baltimore
Prediction: Well this is going to be the third time that these teams will meet this year. Every game was close, but Pittsburgh is a more "veteranized" team.. so they make better calls and play the clock well and that's why they won both meetings. But don't expect this thing to be a low scoring affair, Ben Rothlesburger V.S Joe Flacco. These teams need their quarterback to guide them to victory, but I expect one turnover from each team because the two best defenses of the NFL will make them turnover the ball. The deciding factor will be the running game, who ever has the better running game will win this game. I think Pittsburgh will win this one.
Pittsburgh 28 Baltimore 21

Have to go with Arizona because of Urban (if it's not Carolina it's gotta be Arizona for me). Eagle fans should not sleep on them or read to much into their earlier did. We did that and got creamed by them. I think Arizona's defense is playing better than it's rated.

As someone that doesn't care about sports, I'm very amused by fans fighting.
