My roommate's never played FFVII, if that makes you feel any better.
Then again, my other roommate and I like to talk about Sephiroth in front of him. It sends him into these little spasms that we like to call 'Joy Trips.'

It does indeed, Geno.

In fact, the only recent Final Fantasy game I have played was the online FFXI on PC. Before that, I was strictly an old-school FF player on the SNES. FFXI was fun at first, but partying was a pain in the ass. Eventually we spent more time waiting for parties to form than playing - I knew then it was time to quit.

::nods vigorously :: Yes it does... a few days ago it was fifty something degrees and now it's snowing again. :: sighs :: Ohio is a midwesten state and like my mom always says "If you don't like the weather in the midwest, wait a few minutes."

Everyone should play the Final Fantasy series but NO ONE should play FFXI. It consumes lives! I haven't seen my best friend in months because of that game. Besides World of Warcraft is better.
