Wha? Fail? The ending of the Avatar series had one of the absolute best endings of any series that many of us had ever seen

Just look further back in this thread at the time the show ended, and the overwhelming majority of people are impressed and quite happy with how the series ended. The fight scenes were all epic. The characters were wonderfully portrayed. And the only thing that I can think of that would make you think that the ending was FAIL, is that you might possibly be a Katara/Zuko shipper, who were the only people who weren't generally happy with the ending.

But whatever the case, it's your opinion if you thought the series ending was fail, I just have to strongly disagree with you on that

Lol I am a zuatara shipper, but that wasnt why I hated the ending 'movie'

To me, it lacked wrapping up the developement that Aang had been driving at all along. Aang did nothing but whine, complain, and run away from his duties and in the end, had to have help. Aang, to me, seemed like the kind of guy that the writers just ended up giving him whatever they needed to make the character happy.

I dunno, It just left a sour taste in my mouth that bryke concluded it without killing the Firelord. It was different, but in my opinion, not what needed to end the series.
