I will say  a yes because is a new concept, same thing about the anime, but in a way different, but if you watch  the movie will spoil you a little bit if you see the anime later, but that is a good idea to try.

Well I finally got the chance at reading Deadman Wonderland after a good friend of mine from college highly recommended the manga to me and while going through the series I was kinda hesitatant about shipping  these two until I got to Chapter 39 and once I finished the final chapter I was glad that I was shipping the two of them:
