called it,I said either the fight starts, switch back to hagoromo and everyone, or flashbacks this chapter, and instead it was all 3 pfft. guess we'll see how this plays out. I think sakura and kakashi will get there at the end of the fight too, I still think this will play out like the ova.

 

yeah neither of them will die, we all should have known this, and they didn't die in the ova either.

From what I read Sasuke seems to be taking the Lelouch model of thinking. create a villain that the world will be too busy hating to hate each other, and be so powerful that no one can do anything about it. So the world will be at peace because no one can touch him, and they'll all hate him too much to hate each other.

 

Wrong headed thinking but Sasukes been about wrong headed thinking since his introduction as a character.

 

As I pointed out in my post Lalouch became the focus point of Hatred and then once he achieved this goal he sacrificed himself thus making his death the thing that united the two sides, Obito had unintentionally already managed the same feat, he united the five nations by making him the focus point of all the hatred, and then when Naruto defeated him, his defeat became a positive influence that united the nations.

 

This is why Sasuke's logic makes no sense, Naruto has already managed to unite the five nations, what Sasuke is doing is taking that positive unity and turning it into a forced one that will ultimately lead to hatred.

 

The sage is a even bigger idiot than he appeared last week, last week we didn't know Sasuke actually told him he wanted to kill Naruto. He pretty much set it up to Screw Naruto over, he gave Sasuke the power to kill Naruto, just because of a few hundred year old regret. Naruto can't even go all out no matter what, he needs the powers Sasuke has been given to free everyone from the Jutsu, but Sasuke doesn't need Naruto's powers. The Sage is a massive idiot.

There is no saving him sadly   . And yep that pretty much sums up how this whole stupid fight is gonna go like we need  more Uchiha Emo BS in the story then we already have    .

I guess I'm the only one who liked this chapter. It was short, but completely necessary for the Naruto/ Sasuke showdown. This is probably the climax for the whole of Part II, after all.

 

Once again, it's made more than obvious that Sakura was deliberately sidelined because the focus was on Naruto and Sasuke. Even if she wasn't MIA, there was nothing she could contribute to their clash of ideas. Sakura just simply doesn't connect to Sasuke anywhere near the level that Naruto does.

nah, I completely called this chapter, my prediction for this chapter was 3 things, either 1. the fight would start, 2. flashbacks, or 3. switchs back to hagoromo and the others. and will you look at that, all 3 came true in one chapter pfft

What a predictable chapter. There's not much to be said that wasn't already mentioned by someone else. 

 

Orochimaru is probably gonna run away with Kabuto and the rest of Team Hebi they can't stay in Konoha that's for sure.

 

Orochimaru, yes. The man is one of the most heinous criminals in the history of the world. He should expect some reprisal if he intends to return to Konoha (his objective is following where Sasuke's philosophy takes him though, not redeeming himself in Konoha's eyes).

 

I can imagine Kabuto pulling an Enishi and escaping from the authorities to live in seclusion at the orphanage, reflecting upon his life and making up for the time that had been robbed from him when he was drafted into Root.

 

Taka probably won't encounter any difficulties if they choose to remain in Konoha. The sway of Naruto's dogma in Konoha's political and judicial systems will ensure that they don't face prosecution alongside Sasuke.

Sakura is definitely awake.

 

She was lying on the floor last chapter, now she is sitting and resting her back against a rock. It's not a sleeping position. Kishi carefully avoided to show her face and made Kakashi ask what "he" should do to not blow the effect of surprise when she shows up again.

I'm not too sure, I mean people position people where they're sitting up when they're unconscious alot in all kinds of shows and movies, but I guess it is a possibility
