As for Sakura she said loved as in past tense again as I said earlier my friend who is a NH fan said it means in the past. I mean what did you want her to do just say F*** you Sasuke.

I'm not even surprised at what Sakura said. She was VERY desperate. Very very desperate. Do some of you think she would say this in a normal conversation? Lol no. This was basically her last attempt to try to convince him to return to the village and be team 7 again. She pulled out all the stops. Isn't this what Kakashi did back in the kage summit arc? I think he said roughly the same things, just in his words as his old teacher.

 

No no, you see, people on this thread think Sakura was just being a fangirl airhead trying to win Sasuke's heart while tramping on poor Naruto's heart. That was the whole point of her speech, obviously.

Brace yourselves guys we are back to part 1 sakura (my most hated character).

No matter what happens now I seriously hope naruto doesn't confess because Sakura can't ever resolve her feelings. It will seem so stupid if naruto heard a backup plan yes or no to his confession.

I really salute you guys here who are so biased and positive about NS that they didn't notice that it was anti-NS from sakura's side and anti-SS from sasuke's side just as it had been since the damn beginning. You guys are just looking at the anti-SS side the whole damn time.

Hoping sakura die somehow and Naruto just kittening beat sasuke to death.

Even if it turnes out to be present tense I have absolutely no doubt in NS not being canon. 

One chapter can change EVERYTHING.

I wonder why genjutsu. In fact, I was a bit surprised that he genjutsu her with Sasuke killing her. It's like "Wouldn't be nice if you place her in genjutsu in a normal fashion? Do you have to dream of killing her?" Now what she supposed to dream? Heaven?

I wanted the fight to happen at the valley of end and I am happy that it will .

 

And as far as the pairing thing goes, I seriously jump ship from NS to Naruto being alone/finding someoene else(maybe even Hinata).

 

All those people here saying SS is dead are absolutely correct, but to me that's not the only pairing which have taken a blow. NS was given a huge blow as well. I certainly hope all the people here who were so damn sure that NS will happen are still biased and believes it, but remember that the thing Sakura just said in this chapter makes it fully clear that during her confession to Naruto she still loved Sasuke, during chapter 540 she still loved Sasuke. The only person Sakura has and will love romanitcally is SASUKE.

 

I seriously don't want NS to happen now, because since the manga is at the end I don't know how will kishi correct this sentence Sakura just said in this chapter. She until this point has always loved ONLY SASUKE and I don't care if she ends up with Naruto somehow magically, It will be totally unjustified with Naruto. If Naruto still loves Sakura after hearing this it's fine but I seriously hope he rejects her every time she confesses(if she does) or otherwise Naruto will definitely look like a fool(A BIG FOOL) to say yes to a girl who kept him as a backup.

I mean they think they all know how to do Sakura better, but you know what they should do a fanfic story where Sakura is OP  and gives up on what makes Sakura well Sakura, I mean for the love of god people need glasses.

 

I mean they want her to do something that she can't do the fact is that both Naruto and Sasuke are too OP way to OP and Sakura would just get hurt more so from Sasuke who will take a sick twisted enjoyment from doing so.

 

I mean hey lets just make Sakura a super Saiyan with all of Supermans powers and so many more heroes that we know that should shut everyone up, oh wait no it won't as people will still B**** about it like little kids not getting what they want again I say to them go to the damn Fanfiction site to do your own story.

You have misunderstood some of the comments. I completely agree with you that Sakura has nothing to do with the NaruSasu fight. Sakura barging in the NaruSasu fight and performing well should not be expected. Sakura is just not on the same level as Naruto and Sasuke in terms of power and skills.

 

However, that is not the reason for the frustation of many members here. Most did not expect Sakura to have any important role in the fight anyway. The way Sakura, the supposed Heroine of this manga, was portrayed in this chapter has left many disappointed and frustrated with the writing. 

 

You can see what's happening in this thread. Many are divided in their opinions. Some have grown fed-up of Sakura, some have grown fed-up with Kishimoto and there are a few who understand Sakura and are okay with what she said.

 

This is exactly my problem. This division in opinion Kishimoto's unclear writing has led to. 

 

Does Sakura still love Sasuke? Or has she finally gotten over him? Why did she say these words to Sasuke? What was she trying to say?

Its inconclusive and up for interpretation. All the different opinions leads to chaos among fans. 

 

Why was Sakura made to say all those words to Sasuke? Why was Sasuke given this oppurtunity to mock her? 

It was completely unnecessary and all it does is make Sakura look bad. If NS is indeed the final pairing, then why write like this? Why have Sakura forget Naruto and completely focus on Sasuke before a fight in which Naruto could die? 

 

Let me ask you- Do you honestly like the way Sakura was potrayed this chapter? Did you like the way all her character development was thrown down the drain and she was made to look a little like her part 1 self? Did you feel those words from her were even necessary?

 

You know what I would have liked? If she had said words of encouragement to Naruto. Something along the lines of -" Naruto, I believe in you. I know you are gonna be alright.  I'll be waiting here for you till you come back. Please be careful." 

 

This would have made so much sense and it would have highlighted her character development. And we wouldn't be having this discussion right now. There wouldn't be so much disappointment in the thread.

I have no idea what to think. This is neither a win or a loss. It all depends what happens to Sakura after this. Because we know Sasuke is going to be saved and we know he'll be able to love again... But the kind of love he'll be able to express, well, we don't know that.

All I can think about is that scene where Naruto is talking to Sai as she's walking away. Where Sai asks why Naruto hasn't told her he likes her, and Naruto states that he can't because he hasn't kept his promise yet. Aaaand my heart breaks. If Kishi had any sense he'll resolve Sakura's feelings and set her free of this terrible, abusive love and let her love Naruto the way she wants to. But all of that is in the future no need to get all upset or anxious about it.

Wow I gotta say I can't remember that big of a difference in translation between Mangapanda and MangaStream. MP specifically mentioned LOVED multiple times as in past tense yet MS specifically mentioned LOVE, so current feelings.

 

The difference is jarring from her first words right to the end. MP she says she knows she can't stop the fight, MS says she's always known in her hearts she can't help him. How the heck could the translations be so different? One is written by a fanboy another isn't...We are going to need to wait to see actual RAWS before we can find out what the real translation is.

 

Sad thing is this does nothing to kill the SasuSaku possability. Why? Because it's freaking Kishi he is all about forgiveness of the Uchiha without them really looking for it....and if the movie is indeed canon and Sasuke is not the enemy it means he will be saved in the next nine or ten weeks, and as long as he is redeemed that pairing possability still stands, he's done nothing to justify that kind of devotion from Sakura, even Karin we can understand, he saved her life and actually considered her useful to recruit her, he's done nothing for Sakura, yet Kishi tries to shove her loving him down our throats with no evidence to support those feelings, even Sasuke pointed it out, her love is baseless, it's skin deep and a fiction of her juvenile mind that she couldn't let go.

Some of us think that Sakura returned to his fan girl side again and they hate it. Don't you hate Sasuke being an a**hole in this chapter at all? (as always). Sakura can't do a thing right now. She doesn't have that power-ups to begin with. I admit it that I kinda flipped when Sakura said things like that but that I still am Sakura fan inside of me. I'm still a fan because of who she is. 
Don't just look at Sakura's flaws. She has done big things in this war and she trying to stop his teammate to stop fighting with other teammate makes you hate her? 
 
I hate kishi's writing most of the time honestly, but I will never stop in being a Sakura fan. I'll always be. She has flaws and so are other characters. Sakura's accomplishments> Sakura's flaws.

You're not alone. I detest the emotional and verbal abuse that Sakura has had to endure from Sasuke all this time. That kind of treatment is just par for the course with Sasuke though. He's never allowed himself to become emotionally fettered by anyone. Anything that he wants is fair game and the consequences it leaves on others doesn't cross his mind. They're sacrificable extensions to his journey that will be severed if he feels it necessary or if they become too burdensome to continue holding.

Sakura's actions this chapter may not have been portrayed in the most agreeable light, but all of us should have realised that her emotional hesitations would surface sooner or later. It damages her character no more than Ino's superficial reasons for "loving" Sasuke after all this time. Truthfully, I would argue that Ino's twisted notions of a positive love and her unprofessional behaviour when Sasuke first arrived paint her in a worst light than Sakura's grief over her inability to do anything to reform him.

It seemed quite obvious you were laughing at Sakura in tears, considering you added pictures of her crying and captioned it with "lol sure thing sakura". Please keep up the personal attacks, I'm sure it adds credibility to your defense.

 Did you also forget the parts I posted of her not crying? But you keep on believing that I'm bashing if it makes you feel any better.

The point about screaming and bleeding I was trying to make was not in regards to Sakura; but in regards to my choice of the word "lecture". The main parts where Sasuke and Naruto bond are when they clash and there are huge explosions. In that moment, the two of them are transported into their white dimension where they make peaceful handshakes and whatnot. Love it or hate it; it is a deeply personal bond they share.

 Clashing and explosions, and how is that achieved exactly? From powerful jutsu through gaining power-ups. Who has made it clear that she wants to catch up to both Naruto and Sasuke? Sakura. Who has made that a convenient little story line for her character? Kishi. What's another reason why she won't contribute in the fight? Because she's not strong enough. Who's to blame? Kishi. She's become a third wheel.

Her challenge to get stronger does not equate to her actually being directly involved with Sasuke's redemption. Even when Sasuke was the main focus, it was stated from the start that saving Sasuke was to help Naruto's pain. The whole Sai arc was about Sakura explaining to Sai why Naruto considered someone so twisted as his brother.

I really thought he killed her but then Naruto said it was genjutsu I felt relieved.Tbh I think she will think everything that happened in her life.Maybe her real dreams.How she loved him,her love for Sasuke then her true feelings...Sakura has byakugou so he put her in a genjutsu to hurt her I guess.But it's really weird.
