 May I ask, what's a Blitz Kreig?

To put it simply. It's basically scaring your opponent with a massive surprise attack. It's based on speed and surprise.

Okay, since you don't know it, I'll explain it in detail. Now I know you guys hate any reference to Hitler but I have to use his reference to prove my point. My apologies for that.

You see, during the Second World War, Hitler was the dictator of Germany and that time...Germany was invincible! To accomplish his goals, he adopted a policy known as 'Blitz Kreig'. It literally means 'Devastating the enemy at a lightning fast speed'. 'Blitz' means lightning and I don't remember the meaning of the word 'Kreig' but it was something related to destruction.

The German typhoon seemed unstoppable until Russia adopted its 'Scorched Earth' policy. It literally means 'You come two steps ahead, I push you two steps back again'. Yes it was a defensive policy and adopting an offensive policy against the Germany was next to suicide! Germany was so strong then! But the 'Scorched Earth' spelt the doom of the German typhoon and rest of the events followed...as we are all aware of!

I used the reference of 'Blitz Kreig' to describe the game of Germans during their match with Brazil! It was not only their game...but for the team as well! Its not two or three main players for Germany, it is like, the whole 11 member squad make a game!

Ah, I see, I wasn't quiete sure if you meant is as the Blitzkrieg or if it was something else So it's the lightning war. I never was very good at history, so thanks for the summary! And yeah, I guess it could be a fitting reference to our win last time

Ah, I see, I wasn't quiete sure if you meant is as the Blitzkrieg or if it was something else So it's the lightning war. I never was very good at history, so thanks for the summary! And yeah, I guess it could be a fitting reference to our win last time

I am not quite sure whether it is 'Blitzkreig' or 'Blitz Kreig' but I guess you are German and you know it better . I just hope the typhoon continues today as well!

Actually, nothing can be predicted in a game. Anything can happen today but since I have to side with one team, I'd better side with Germany!

It meant war or warfare, so basically lightning war. Basically really fast warfare, and the Germans utilized a lot of tanks to do so.

 

Anyways, go Germany! That's where basically all of my heritage is so I want them to win number 4!!!
