Question that will probably be answer in the upcoming chapters.

 

Kakashi fighting chance.

 

As of now Kakashi doesn't have the Sharingan, so no copy ninjutsu, no Chidori,  no quick movement anticipation and all related to Mangekyou.

However, no Sharingan drawback, which was to depleted his chakra rather quickly.

 

So the big question, all those jutsu he copied with Sharingan, will he still able to use it. Without the Sharingan drawback, he can be a machine. If it can't use it, I know he's been a jonin at the age of 12 but still, if he can't use those, he is pretty much useless.

 

Naruto and Sasuke won't be harmed seriously in those form, Sakura can regenerate with the seal. The only thing he got over his student is experience and strategy.

 

So can he use his copy jutsu?

I haven't gone through 17 pages of comments, so apologies if I'm repeating what someone else has mentioned.

 

I'm a bit disappointed that Kishimoto stopped the flashback where he did.

The next moment was Sakura saying that the one thing she hated was Naruto.

That would have been a nice contrast to the present, seeing her with a hand on his shoulder and fascinated by what is new in his life.

 

The other point is to remember that we are getting Kakashi's opinions.

He is an "unreliable narrator".

He has *always* been about Sasuke, to the point that he pushed Naruto's training onto others and completely ignored Sakura (who had to find a real mentor in Tsunade).

Of course Kakashi is going to focus on Sasuke when thinking about Sakura's past.

 

It is more important when more objective observers, like Yamato and Sai, mention the importance of Naruto when talking to Sakura about her feelings.

 

 

People give Kakashi too much of a hard time for the one time he trained Sasuke instead of Naruto...myself included, But if you think about it, it was the right choice to make, Naruto was facing a ninja from his own village and a genius at that, Naruto was going to loose, but atleast he would be alive, where Sasuke was facing a ninja from another village who left one of Konoha Ninja's in a career ending injury, and killed a team of Ninjas who tried to attack them during the chunnin exams, Sasuke was going to loose, and it would likely end with his death. Also just before he started training Sasuke, Kabuto had made a play at Sasuke's life so Kakashi was a bodygaurd as well as a teacher for that month.

 

We don't actually know how long Kakashi had with the team either, it could have been anything from two to six months. Then after the exams, Jiraiya took Naruto to find Tsunade and after his failed fight with Itachi and recovering in hospital he had to go on multiple high paying solo missions to help the village recover from the damage, and then Sasuke ran away and within a couple of days Jiraiya toKaok Naruto off on his training trip, and Sakura convinced Tsunade to train her. People often forget the Manga timeline and concentrate on the real life time line or the Anime timeline. For example the past 150 plus chapters has only taken place over two or three days, Naruto said it would be his birthday tomorrow months ago and it's still not arrived yet.

 

Kakashi is not a unreliable narrator, he is usually semi-correct, like when he said the Uchiha clan came from Hyuuga. Kakashi or Yamoto, are often tools used by Kishi to give you hints about, Kakashi just gets a bad rep because allot of his comments came in the first part of the manga and you get the feeling that Kishi made quite a few changes to the story for the second half and his mouthpiece Kakashi got made to look like a idiot.

 

If you want to talk about poor teachers, we have yet to see the results of Jiraiya's two and a half years of training Naruto. Sakura got to a point where she was getting close to equalling Tsunades level, Sasuke learnt plenty of Jutsus and defeated an entire platoon, and learnt how to combine his two elements, Naruto learnt how to make a bigger Rasengan and I'd argue got weaker because Jiraya weakened the seal so he started to rely on Kuramas power more and more.

I always see (battle wise) kakashi is weaker third hokage.
If only he has chakra as big as jiraiya or kisame.

Its gonna be them both. BUT, its too early to forget Kaguya! The true power awakens when the two eyes are together. I see Kaguya taking control of Madara!

 

I hope she takes control of Sasuke. In the end.

I don't really want to get too involved in the pairing discussion, but I think Kakashi's words purposefully left some room for interpretation. While we see it as the "end of SS", the SasuSaku fans see it as a boost for their pairing with the implication that Sakura still has feelings for Sasuke, regardless whether those feelings are romantic or not. Both sides feel satisfied and remain invested. It's actually pretty clever, if frustrating.

 

Now on to the rest of the chapter. I'm just going to be honest and I don't care if people think I'm kittening, but I really don't like Naruto's new ability. First he revived Gai from certain death and now he regenerates Kakashi's eye in an instant, and he has no idea how he's even doing it.  Congratulations Sakura, all your years of hard work are now for nothing. Naruto can heal things she can't even dream of. Yes, I know this kind of power up BS is not new but once upon a time Naruto actually worked for his powers.

 

Some have said that there is foreshadowing for Sakura to get another power up soon, and if that happens, great. Sakura certainly deserves that much, but I'm afraid I just can't pin my hopes on that when Kishimoto seems to mainly focus on the romantic side of her character.

 

And while I'm hardly surprised at this point, I'm disappointed that Kishimoto goes to further lengths in the chapter to absolve Obito of any responsibility. All along he had no real choice, he was just a puppet to Madara's will, poor thing.  Madara orchestrated Rin's death (shocker) and he manipulated the Mist, all to turn Obito over to the "dark side" -- I'm sorry, but I found that line so laughably cliché. I think that was the part that bothered me the most; Obito, the unwitting pawn, and Madara, the grand conductor of basically everything that went wrong in the Narutoverse.

Kakashi may not have his MS, but still his inherent qualities like his intellect, sense of smell, sense of hearing, alertness, analytical abilities, jutsu breakdown and most importantly his experience of strategies, tactics and his experience in war(he survived the 3rd ninja war) still remain with him. We are giving the tag of 'unreliable narrator' to the one, who has watched team 7 grow into what it is. He has watched its members more than anyone else. People say Kakashi trained Sasuke and left Naruto and Sakura. What about the rasensuriken training? He kittening devised a whole new method which was suited only for Naruto! Kakashi is amazing even without the Sharingan considering that he is an ordinary guy with no clan history. He was deemed dangerous by someone as powerful as Pain! He is not an 'unreliable narrator' since he has seen Team 7 more than anyone else, as close as anyone has seen. Except for Sasuke, he can literally read Naruto and Sakura and yet we tag him as 'unreliable'. Infact, if it comes to disregarding, we can AT THE MOST, in WORST case, disregard Yamato's words because he was new to Team 7, but Kakashi's? Never ever. He knows team 7 the best except Sasuke. He is well aware of everyone's abilities including Sasuke. His words infact take more presidence over Yamato's. Reason I've already stated. Just because he lost his MS doesn't mean he is useless. The true power lies in the hands of user and not the weapon he forges/uses

I didn't mention this before, but I'm glad Team 7 are the ones fighting Madara.  It's not just Naruto and Sasuke like with Obito, but Sakura's fighting with them.  Many even doubted that she would even take part.  I had my doubts as well.  We can really thank the Team 7 dynamic for including her.  I believe she will have more happen to her, to be able to truly stand as an equal to Naruto and Sasuke.

 

I loved the interactions with Sakura this chapter.  In my opinion, they were the complete opposite of chapter 632.  She gets transported right next to Sasuke (and Kakashi), and she just says "Sasuke-kun", surprised he's there.  Afterwards, She easily switches attention to Kakashi, not fangirling over Sasuke like certain others expected her to.  Then, when Naruto arrives, he has her full attention, surprised at his new form, and even starts up conversation about what happened with Kakashi, and what to do.  It's not like Sasuke's even there.  He even has to interject himself into the conversation, by telling Naruto to stay on guard.  Really, quite the difference from before.

I still don't understand how can people think that Sakura's part was ambiguous . I mean its clear that what Kakashi says is that her feelings changed from romantic/like to something different and then he proceeds to explain the nature of those feelings as friends/nakama not to mention the use of liked and duty in the second part i mean come on its not that hard to understand .

Finally saw sawyer7mage's review and I laughed. The guy made a sarcastic comment when Obito send Sakura back saying" yes she's safe and we know we were all worried about her". Yep everybody wanted Madara to killher silly anti's when they will learn Kishimoto will always go against their wishes. Aside from the part he was worshipping Madara putting him on a pedestal he actually made fun of Naruto and Sakura during Kakashi's team seven flashback (obviously he's not happy in the least, SS has been shot to the heart and Hinata is still kissing the ground not looking good for NH either). Why can't the other fandom be like sawyer who hides his pain of feeling butt hurt throuhg sarcasm and humor? I prefer that than raging out and be in denial.

sawyer was realy funny as always but i thought he was a ss fan?cause he called sasusaku an abusive relationship

I don't know if this is aimed at me, but I didn't say it was ambiguous, only that depending on your perspective, it leaves room for interpretation. NaruSaku fans seem pretty unanimous in their belief that Kakashi's comments are negative for SS, but I imagine SasuSaku fans will see it quite differently. Interpretation, not ambiguity.

-This chapter finally confirms Sakura no longer has romantic feelings for Sasuke rather she feels friendship or the teammate bond.

-Sasuke still could care less about Sakura or anyone for the matter, Karin might be an exception.

 

Botton line is Naruto loves Sakura and she doesn't love Sasuke like that anymore. We know she has strong feelings for Naruto. Sawyer doesn't have to connect the dots to figure out where Kishi's heading with this.

i prety much agree with u on everthing just that bolded part:well if what ur saying its true  then hinata prety much lays on the hround for about 2-3 hours?i think at least kiba ,her dad or one of her clan got her up and carried her  away ..just sayin..but she still doesnt have chakra so i prety much guess she wont see naruto until the end of the war,when the alliance lifts him up and throws him in the air like after the pain moment(i guess i havent worded this right,but u guys know what im talking about rite)

Oh no this wasn't aim at you i didn't even managed to red your comment it was more aimed to the other fandoms . And yes you are right but their interpretation doesn't make any sense . First of all with what i said before there is also these line (you still have feelings for an enemy who tried to kill you but no matter what happens you can't just throw away Sasuke because you are a sweet kind girl ) , this is by the MS translation because the MP debunks this as romantic in any way but do people seriously think this was meant in the romantic context ? They refer him as her enemy who tried to kill her yet this is supposed to mean that she loves him even more after that that her feelings progressed  ? That doesn't make any sense were is that progression thru the manga since that time till now it has been nothing but negative and they have barely interacted since Sasuke left and you can see the level of their "interaction" in this chapter and to top it of Kakashi's comment comes after Kakashi notices both the SS & NS interactions , also if Kakashi meant that her feelings were still romantic he would have used present tense in the MP scan like you still like/love instead of liked . But if this still isn't clear enough them i guess i will wait for the raw to come out .

i thought he was a ss fan because in one of his reviews ,chapter 632 i think,he rants about sasuke being turned on about sakuras power up(when she punched the juubi)i think he meant ''impressed'' in a sarcastic way but i got the ideea he was a ss fan..maybe i was wrong
