I just thought of something. Whoever the mysterious person is, what do you all think he is going to do? Are they going to heal Sasuke and if he does would this undermine Karin's role? Unless of course Karin will do a Sakura and be Sasuke's life support while another brings him back.

Orochimaru and Karin senses that the footperson is up to no good. So I think Team Taka+Oro will clash with him, and let Karin heal Sasuke. I have no idea what exactly the footperson will do. Maybe he wants something from him, or maybe he wants to kill Sasuke while he's down.

 

It's very interesting. This is probably the first time I've been more excited about Sasuke's situation than Naruto's.

I'd say that it's possible that will happen, but I guess we'll have to find out when the chapter comes out.

Sadly, villains are not that practical. They take thrill in the hunt, not just in the kill. Sometimes that is the very reason of their downfall.

lol It could be many reasons with one being that well...if she said she recognized it, then it wouldn't be mysterious. We would know exactly who it was. If the intention is to make it a mystery, then you can;t have certain characters recognize them otherwise it would give it away too easily.

She just didn't recognize it. In the end, he is a conglomerate of many things inside there which most surely, must've affected his chakra signature as well.

Yes but the chakra signature shouldn't be completely different. If it is Kabuto, she should've recognized the chakra, but not the person. "This chakra is familiar, but I don't know who it is".

 

I hope the footperson is not Kabuto, it would be illogical. And it would mean Kishi wrote something illogical, just to create a red herring.

I think the suspicious person can be other than Kabuto. Kishi can bring back someone who was away or thought dead or whatever, and make him reappear all of a sudden.

Yeah, I have a feeling this next chapter will very likely focus on Sasuke since we didn't see any of him last chapter. Although I would prefer if it were half and half to kind of keep the pace going a little more, but we'll see.
