I think she is more suitable with sage mode. Because I believe slug sm has passive skill that heal your wound just like tsunade jutsu.

Well that wouldn't exactly be that interesting, after this war Madara and Obito will most likely be defeated in some way, Sasuke wants to be hokage, Oro is "good", and all the villages are friends. I dont see any continuation for Naruto's generation at least. Maybe his kids hopefully

A part 3 is possible. It depends really on what the goal of that part will it be.

one goal would be world peace but the only villain suitable for this is Sasuke. And it fits. Naruto managed to unite the 5 great shinobi nations but the smaller ones united around Sasuke.

All one would need for this to happen is a reason for the time skip. But it also means that Naruto fails to find peace with Sasuke in this part.

I can see Naruto's generation after this war  as very peaceful, but then his kids and their generation breaking back into violence and villages fighting again.

Thanks guys. I also think this should be the last arc. I love this story but I followed it from when I was a little kid.Now, I'm already an adult. I'd like to see the ending to it. 

 

If she gains the Byakugo no jutsu, Souzou Saisei or any other regenerative abilities I think she has become the strongest female. 

 

She has already surpassed Shizune. Who else does she have to surpass to become the strongest female? 

Tsunade? That's a given. 

Mei? Mei's acid/lava is not going to be effective if Sakura can keep regenerating herself in a duration of time, or get covered by Katsuyu who seems to have been unaffected at all from the malicious Kyuubi Chakra(Pain arc). 

I think she had surpassed Shizune a pretty long time ago to be quite honest. When she fought Sasori and showed off her skills and such, I had thought that overall, she was better than Shizune. Maybe not in overall Medical Ninjutsu but it's hard to peg where the two of them stand there. I think Sakura's right next to her there though. 

 

But yeah, at the moment, she's about the third strongest overall known female IMO. If she does gain Creation Rebirth, and Strength of 100, I'd pray she doesn't suffer several fatal wounds since it'd take away her lifeforce thus shortening her life span. Sage Mode would be best IMO. She'd surpass her with that alone for sure IMO because her overall stats would increase, and there's no telling how this coupled with the seal would increase her overall strength. She'd be even more incredible. I actually do believe that the seal has some relation to Slug Sage Mode. Maybe this is a requirement for her to gain Sage Mode? I mean obviously it is for the chakra but given she and Tsunade have been shown to disperse chakra from the seal, and not from their own chakra when remote healing, it makes me wonder if the seal is in relation to the slugs in some way. It's even more convenient that the slugs are actually capable healers... 

 

I feel as though Slug Sage Mode may very well give her the benefits of Creation Rebirth possibly and more without the side effects? I hope Kishi delves at some point with Sakura. We now know that the Shik...<_< Forest is where the slugs are. LOL Hopefully he goes further and has Sakura train there. dis

If there was a part III I'd personally hope for an an exploration of the Rikudo Sennin and the Juubi. Heck maybe the origins of Chakra itself, and maybe have opposing views of the use of chakra o something like that. But that's just me.

 

Just so that I am perfectly clear on this is the manga on break or is it being released tomorrow?

True, but I guess that's the problem that Kishi has to face soon. What we seeing now is something that really feels finale. I mean everyone is there, lots of developments, including resolutions, Juubi is like the biggest obstacle of them all, Madara, pretty much mastermind of the world at danger, and Naruto hitting the final peak that is similar to Gurren Lagann finale. So it's really hard for Kishi to make the future parts "epic".

Well it couldn't be more obvious that she will gain the Slug Sage Mode. 

 

Since you need a huge amount of chakra to perform Sage Mode, I believe that her forehead seal will come in handy to solve that criteria. 

 

And as you say, if Sakura can master regenerative abilities without the side effects that will definitely make her surpass Tsunade. Do you think her studying the cells of Zetsu will be connected to this?

Actually,I would love to see Part 3 if it was Team 7 vs the World. Team 7 becomes the Final Villain and the whole world has to fight against them

Ummm...

I'm sorry, Atheck, but you are being way too harsh on Sakura now. Remember the punch she did against the 50 or so odd ten-tails spawns? We haven't even seen Tsunade punch that hard in the manga yet. If this is the case then let's take away Naruto's Sage mode and Rasengan since these are hand-me-down's as well. Let's also take away the Nine-tails since again it is really not his to begin with. Also take away Sasuke's chidori, which is Kakashi's technique, and remove the part of his brother's eyes from him which leave him blind from his own eyes.

If we removed every technique from the original cast to prove a point, then no one from the Konoha 11 are special since every one of them uses at least one hand-me-down jutsu. Some base their whole arsenal around them. (Uchiha, Hyuuga, etc.)

 

I can't say that Sakura having Tsunade's Byakugou jutsu sounds all that appealing. It doesn't really help to bring her up in the ranks besides giving her a means to outlast her opponent if she's unable to beat them through her attacks.

James, while Atheck's words could be considered bashing I still can't say you should assume he is a Sakura hater, because chances are he is trying to explain something, but is not using the right words for it. For instance he could be saying that he wants Sakura to do more than what she is doing now. I for one know that While I Love sakura and and VERY satisfied with her progress I don't enjoy the notion of her being passive in important fights. that is to say I mean that While Naruto Fight the largest threats and strongest enemies she is healing everyone because she isn't at their level with power ups or abilities. That is she would not be helpful in direct confrontation. Take the Pain invasion. Tsunade could have crushed Pain easily with her strength but she could do nothing to prevent the Gigantic Shinra Tensei that Destroyed the village, and she did not have a Jutsu to reach him fast enough to take him out before he could use it. So I think what Atheck is trying to say is that He wants Sakura to stand with Naruto and Sasuke when they confront the the Main threat and not just stay back because she she has no means of fighting against the power that the enemy possesses, and I would agree with that notion. If Kishi doesn't want Sakura have offensive jutsu like Naruto and Sasuke He should at least do something along the lines of like giving her a jutsu that could negate or destroy Chakra in her punches or something like that. There is a difference in not fighting because you choose not to and not fighting because you can't. Same with Dragon Ball. With the exception of 18 and Pan, none of the women in the series know how to even use ki or fight against it, much less reach the realms of power the males have, not even 18 and Pan. Toriyama says it's because He thinks women are not strong willed like men or make tough decision like men, which is kind of sexist to me. Mind, there are several factors with that, such as  the prime reason that he was raised in Japan where usually women are not supposed to publicly display strong will or aggression, unless it is defending family or a Husband's honour but it is sexist non the less. So I would like that to be changed with Sakura too. Give her the means to fight against the strongest beings and if she chooses not to for the sake of preserving traditional Japanese femininity then at least we can say that "it's not because she is helpless in the grand conflict".

Atheck, I appreciate your expectations of Sakura, and I would like for her to fight and Kick ass up there with Naruto and Sasuke, and I want that too. But However do understand that Sakura has shown her strength and is more active in battle than she was before. That should be celebrated, regardless of wanting more from her because She has not been active for the longest time. Wanting more from her is fine, but what she has shown is not so limited as you might see it. She could take out giants like the Biju with her strength now even if the damage would be minimal because of their regeneration. So what I am trying to say that Her development may not be in on par with Narto ad Sasuke, but it is no disappointment either. And the story is not over yet so Kishi may find more to do with her yet. It is only safe to show dissatisfaction at the END of the story and she still hasn't done anything.

Sakura is the heroine, she's been active throughout the manga as her role as heroine, and she's not gonna finish-nor is sasuke or naruto-until this manga is over.

Has there been any more information regarding those rumors about a Part 3 in Naruto? You said it started because of a recent interview that Kishi made?

 

It's funny because I always said that after Pain Arc ended, part 3 began. I said this because it's no longer revolves only on Konoha. Now, the world is in peril.

 

I brought the same topic a while ago. After the Pain arc the feel of the story changed a little in my opinion. To me the Akatsuki organization ended when Nagato died even if it really was Tobi who was behind it all. Afterwards it's all about Tobi openly defining the entire world instead of being more selective in their attacks.

 

In my perspective you can divide the story like this:

 

1) Team 7 saga: All of part 1

2) Akatsuki saga: From the beginning of Part 2 until the end of the Pain arc

3) Ninja war saga: From the beginning of the Summit arc until the end of the story

Okay Fair point. I was trying to be neutral because He may not hate Sakura As James said. Plus when I say passive I mean directly in the fray. I already know that Sakura made contributions in the manga. like figuring out the compositon of Zetsu's body, and Healing in the Pain invasion arc. Did I say she did nothing? No, I said when they face the main enemy, She does not directly fight them. I would like to see that, but that is my preference. I'm happy with What she has done and acknowledge her as the Heroine. I never said that she wasn't. I merely desire to see Sakura, show that she is as capable and Competent in Fighting the strongest foes as Naruto and Sasuke. Do I demand it and call her weak if she doesn't? No, I will accept and love her character either way. There is a difference in that, and Not appreciating her at all when you keep demanding more from her and always say she is not good enough.

More or less this last volume was mostly a filler one. Sure we the readers speculated and were glad that the plot was moving on from the last volume where it was filled with flashbacks.

 

No matter how we perceived each chapter of this volume the story was still not progressing.

 

Kishi intended for Obito to become the ten tails jinchuriki. The fact that 2 chapters have very similar titles is evident of that. But in the mean time before Obito would become one, he decided to move some pieces around. He pulled out Kakashi out of the equation ( for now at least). He gave time to the hokages to get to the fight and spar with the juubi in it's released form. Also Minato got to see what became of his student. Sasuke also arrived on the battlefield and lastly Sakura got her power-up. The only pieces that aren't yet there are the 5 kages but just like kakashi they could show up in the next chapter.

 

There is a reason why Sakura got the upgrade and then was sidelined for a couple of chapters. And we just have to wait and see what that reason is.
