Why are you bringing Sakura into this? She only had like 1 panel in the entire chapter.
All we need to focus on is why NaruHina isn't cannon. That seems to be what everyone is worried about right now.

I havent seen a hint from naruto. Also finally it happened what we where all waiting for. Hinata was the one to cheer up naruto, not like he always did with hinata. That means she got a huge load of development, like we all hoped, that it happens.
So why so much worries?

to me it isn't canon but the thing that naruto is holding her hand worries me, a lot honestly.... I'm still NS shipper of course and I'll be so forever, but my faith in Kishimoto is ruined now... I really think that man is overrated about romance stories..
A few time ago I was a great supporter of Tobi=Madara theory and I used to refuse any theory about the fact tha he was Obito. Only around the chapter 595 I realized that in fact I would was wrong about it, especially after the words used by Obito. After that I realized that he was really Obito and I was compelled to accept that for non being more delusional.
Now I'm feeling the same... I've faith in NS, certainly not thanks to Kishimoto.... I only hope that Naruto is the same boy who used to be... A boy who don't give up, a boy who pursuing his dream about becoming hokage, a boy who want to win sakura's love. That's Naruto.

Where did she say that??
EDIT: Nevermind, it's Naruto.
EDIT: Continuing from above, it's clear that this chapter has hinted on Naruto reciprocating Hinata's feelings.
@Branden: the only thing that would solidify NH is if Kishi connects it with ObiRin. If that happens, it's clear NH is canon.

You seriously think that after 600 chapters, there's a chance that naruto will give up?

AS said before: Dont see any hint there.
NH isnt canon as long as naruto doesnt show any romantic feelings for hinata, and this chapter defenitly didnt show something like that.

For starters, this chapter wasn't a "OMasdjfakls;gjk;G NARUHINA IS CANON" one to me. Not at all. Like a lot of you have already said, I felt that this was more of a chapter that simply developed Hinata as a character. I was impressed by what she did, and I'm happy for her, because, yeah, I really like her as a character.
But like I said, I've been doing some thinking. A while ago, I came to the realization that if Kishi keeps this up, legit keeps up this development, then I will be fine with NaruHina. I'll accept it, and I might actually like it. We have to face facts: Even if we have a lot of moments on our side, it's ultimately up to Kishi to decide how he steers the manga.
Once NH or some other pairing that isn't NaruSaku is canon, one might say, "But then all that NS development was for nothing!" Well, not really. It majorly helped them develop as characters, at the very least.
Basically: Kishi can always develop NH, starting right now. Anything can happen.
Because honestly? The only reason I've never canonically shipped it is because they just didn't have enough interaction. If the plot had been written differently, with adequate NH development, I might have supported it. But the facts remain that it wasn't. Which is exactly why I ship NH in fanon: fanfiction allows us to see things in different perspectives.
However, NaruSaku will always, always be my OTP. I'm going down with this ship.
I accept that anything can happen. I'm now at the point where I accept, and even like, other pairings. But I still stand most strongly by the side of NS.
And may I just say that I loved this post? I'm really disappointed in some of us, to be honest. We cracked so easily because of one chapter that seemed to be in favor of the rival pairing. But look at the NH fandom. I'm not saying that they're the friendliest fans in the world, but at the very least, they've seen through all of our development, yet still shipped what they shipped. Shouldn't we strive to be like that ourselves?

That's a good point, but people on this website are mainly pairing fans. Pairing fans by their very nature are much more passionate about pairings and see pairing hints in a much more amplified fashion. Until recently I did too. Recently I've come to accept either pairing because quite frankly Hinata's story is enjoyable and I've grown to, well not hate her. Not really hate or anything negative, just to accept as a legitimate character. By doing that you have gain a sort of acceptance that either pairing could happen, well at least in my experience it has.
To all of you out there, I highly doubt Kishimoto is going to make NaruHina cannon without resolving Naruto's love for Sakura. He has been creating this story for years. He has a wife and kids and is no fool when it comes to love, the same as he is no fool when it comes to creating a story. Trust in him that whatever he does will ultimately create a beautiful story that you were glad to read.

You know what will be interesting? That in the next chapter Naruto thinks about Sakura and the times she has always been there for him, and he break the hold of Hinata's hand and just plain tell her there's someone else who have done more things than her.

Agreed, but i by myself could never accept any other pairing than NS, nor would it be intresting for me to see a romantic story for hinata or sasuke. But well if its really happening that way, theres nothing we can change about it. For me kishi would be stamped as a bad writer and im never going to read a manga made by him again (if he does one).
But till now there is still nothig for me to doubt or worry NS. I know 90% in here dont think so, but i dont care.

I'm more concerned about the fact that since he give her chakra, he will pick up her to fight along with him.
more more heroish stuff for hinata.

Yes, there is. Naruto says to Hinata "Thanks for being by my side." That's a hint of him accepting her feelings. Hell, you could even argue that statement is essentially him asking her to be his partner in life. When someone asks you or tells you that she/he is grateful to have you by his/her side, isn't that essentially saying the same "I love you"?? how many of you has had people telling you that he/she's glad to have you by his/her side?? how would you interpret his/her words?? friendship?? romance?? depends on your relationship of course.
It isn't clear-cut, but the truth of Naruto's statement hangs in what he thinks of her. Which is something that needs to be delved into to fully resolve this matter. This time, Kishi has better not be playing games anymore. I'm already sick of it. But nonetheless, this statement of Naruto's is a definite hint.
He needs to provide a clear view of Naruto's POV on the people that he cares about.

The problem is not NH, the problem is consistency. Naruto has loved Sakura during the whole manga, Sakura has been developing with Naruto all this time and even after all of that she still loves Sasuke but Naruto the main character who never gives up who never changes his mind or regrets his feelings will suddenly stop loving Sakura without any indication beforehand and suddenly fall in love with Hinata. Sorry but that's bad writing, I'm just asking for Kishi to be consistent and not off panel his main character's feelings.

Can Hinata even do that? Remember what happened last time she tried to help? If she does she'd better be good at it.

It's left ambiguous on purpose, this is Kishi we're talking about and yes I agree I hope he doesn't play games anymore it's tiring.
