He might comeback a few years from now to write another possible miniseries or oneshot chapter. But until then, given what he said in interviews, Naruto seemed to have worn him out.

People always complain about Toei, but I think Studio Pierrot is far far worse.

Nah, Toei did Dragonball and Dragonball Z just fine. A lot of people complain about One Piece's anime, but I like it. At least it isn't bogged down by non-stop fillers and I think it's been quite good recently.

 

What did SP do? They got Bleach cancelled and ruined Naruto. Not to mention I heard Tokyo Ghoul's anime was bad.

I still can't understand, sakura you are so smart, not everyone can't become a good medic. You should realize in this moment who is the one that really love and care about you.

 

Now i just have to wait for the infamous 'CHIDORI OF LOVE' to be animated and spam it all over tumblr and SS fan site ...

Toei did a good job with DB and other old animes but their current animes are pretty bad at animation / direction, they've been screwing up old franchises like Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya and if they aren't careful DB super can get screwed up too if episode 5 isn't any indication

 

Pierrot screwed up Bleach, Naruto, TG and Belzebub but they've made a good adaptations of Akatsuki no Yona and Yu yu Hakusho

 

so IMO, SP screws up too but when at least they have consistency in some of their projects

Both do weekly episode. Usually they would sacrifice quality in order to make every weekly episode for all years.
24 or less episode usually have better quality than weekly episode.

I think the same would happen to the other animation studio if they make weekly episode too regardless of name.

I think studio pierot take this in term of animation.

Well, for long running talk, sunrise and madhouse says hi on quality.

As for short animation, well, I only got Tokyo Ghoul and Sailor Moon to compare and I guess SP would win in that. I mean TG still had bad planning (not sure whose idea to make it only 12 and suffer budget for season 2), but the animation is better. Also art is good (stills at least, I'll credit the stills more so than moving since animation lies on it).

I cut the animation studios some slack when it comes to art & animation because realistically it can't be perfect 100% of the time, especially for long running weekly animes.

 

On the other hand, I think we can all agree though that SP has some of the worst writing staff ever. Their fillers are always complete garbage, and the people who wrote the Last should be out of job with that on their resume.

Well it can't be 100% I understand that, but timing is key and SP keep missing the right time to use their better animator. That's what it annoys me.

Well, Naruto was not that bad, it was still enjoyable at least for me at that time before the pairings became canon. There were some minor problems like the SNS final battle, Kaguya, etc.., but it certainly did not make the series worse.  Everything would have turned out okay if only Naruto ended up with Sakura or not getting married with anyone at all.

 

The SNS terrible final battle and Kaguya being one of the worst final villains of all time were more than minor problems

At this point, I wouldn't surprise me if SP cuts it or changes it entirely to Sasuke simply punching her in the gut rather than shoving his freaking bare hand through her chest or something just to make things look better.

Nah.SP hate SS and have never done it any favors.

What I'm worried about, is if they'll be adding onto Hinata's IT dream.
