Erza is the true main character.
Actually erza and Lucy are even in terms of main characterness unlike hinata and orihime were with Sakura and rukia.

Who's silver? At least Silver had some foreshadowing as far back as the tower of heaven arc.....
Posted 03 December 2016 - 05:44 PM
Silver is Gray's dad that was brought back as a demon in the tartaros arc.Who's silver?
@Vanitas
I disagree, Lucy is much more important from narative stand since she's a heroine and the narrator. She's like rukia Eventhought Lucy is more relevant than her.
While the same can't be said with sakura.
Orihime at least has the main character and heroine status.
While Hinata is supportive character and have little relevancy outside her romance and the fact that she's pretty much fan favorite female character.
Erza is more like sasuke.

THey've taken the whole coincidence thing to a whole new level. It just so happens that Fairy Tail has three of the five know Dragon Slayers, on the side of light, the Great....Granddaughter and daughter of the women who bought said Slayers in the current time line, the one person capable of killing Zeref's Demon, and ofcourse the woman trained by and who fell in love with the creator of the demons is the founder and now the daughter of the woman known as the Dragon queen all happen to be members of the same guild.
Was Devil Jesus really defeated last chapter? I find it strange how it was mentioned only his mother could defeat him and then someone else comes along and defeats him, with it not even being someone from FT to defeat him as well.
Erza's reveal might appear as a arsepull, but it would explain her strange ability to control situation like she does, her ability to pull through situations that should not be possible. However the lack of foreshadowing about her inheritance, just like with Gray and Rakhid, and nearly all recent revelations, they all appear as made up recent additions and not something that was foreshadowed. I don't know if this is because it wasn't planned or Mashima has not a good job setting the revelation to have a strong impact.
I do find it amusing her mother is the Queen of the Dragons and Erza is Titania Queen of Fairy's, ridiculous names seem to run in the family.

My guess either she was a dragon slayer or she was a dragon the put her soul in a human to escape Aconologia rampage but unlike the other four she possess the woman instead of inhabiting her to create those cells.

The thing is that old man was just hypothesizing that she may be the only on to defeat him. But I don't think he knew about the fact that Sting was a White/Holy Dragon Slayer. Therefor someone who can manage a man who fight purely with holy magic most of the time. Though she may face him latter on.
From what I understand Mashima doesn't really plan out his story as much as write them on the seat of his pants.

Yeah it explains most, but not all a-pulls like why she can move when all of her five senses were shut off. and yeah for August to state thast Only Mavis can stop Larcade as his mother then for Sting to beat him kills any freaking relevance to bring up that plot point up in the first place

Not to say what you said is the only fact but the buildup to it only ask for Mavis to show up for something, but nope, he's defeated, hence the running joke of Sting being the true mother. It has no point now. Not to mention, there goes the trump card against Acnologia. The hype derailment from Mashima continues.

I know but Larcade is one as well. Well, great potential, but oh well. Never mind that now...Trump card against Acnologia? That's always been Natsu. That's why the one ice guy wanted to kill him. He feared that if Natsu went full strength, he could beat Acnologia before Zeref could.

I always thought FT had less kitten than Nardo, even with the whole "because she's Erza", but even I didn't think that could lead to this whole load of bullocks I'm reading from the spoilers. And no, not even the NaLu moment makes up for this chapter.
Huh, that bad? Let me see
