You know....when it comes to fights....Akatsuki members have always and always given a good one. It was not just techniques...it was their perfection, strategy, precision, their judgement of the situation and the best thing I loved about them is their innovation using their own techniques. Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, Hidan, Kakuzu everyone. Kisame of all. Man! What a villain he was. He didn't leave his pride even during his death. Now that you think about it, Naruto gave us pretty decent villains. Zabuza, Gaara, Orochimaru, Akatsuki of all and it stops there :glare: No Madara and others included :glare:

Kisame and Kakazu were definitely the best (though there was some holes in Kakazu's back story)  they had a good build up  but you can thank Yahagi for that bc I doubt Kikitten had planed anything with them  Bc in the end he kittented on every villain (except Kisame) he destroyed them and the story so yeah what good of it  don't even get me started on Orochimaru and what his character turned out to be nothing but Sasuke's lackey dog with his only purpose to follow his fart :twitch:  .

If Villains are being discussed, I'd say Tobi and kisame were my favorite. Tobi's "senpai" mode and Kisame always interested me  :excited:  :excited:

I wonder what Minato, Kushina, Jiraiya and the rest of the dear departed group think of the current canon naruto ??

I sincerely hope there is an Ass kicking waiting for Naruto from Kushina that would make any brown mother proud    (I'm brown, from India. So when i say an Ass whooping making a brown mother proud, i mean a beat down on Naruto's dumb ass)

Agreed! He had every potential to be one of the most badass villain. But honestly....going by the flow and the type of the series....I feel Pain Nagato should have been the last villain. It'd leave many plots unsettled but hey...that's because story was meant to go ahead. If it was supposed to end there....it might just have got the justice it deserved. On another note, I feel Jiraiya is the only one who could kill/redeem Orochimaru....

I would've liked if Orochimaru eventually died in the story ( maybe as one of the last villains to be defeated) but in the end after years to pass Kabuto inherited his legacy ( theme song included) and became kind of like the new Orochimaru, a new ruthless Sanke sennin, not the lame ass who was converted by Itachi asspull genjutsu

Then after the original manga run, Kishi could've made a movie or a spin off regarding on how Kabuto's plans were twarthed

That... Or maybe the end of Part 1? Since Yahagi left after Pain arc consequently throwing the series into abyss, I'd have preferred the story to be ended there. Oro could've died telling Kabuto the truth....whatever that Orphanage and all that was and Kabuto would have left for good. And then maybe make a comeback during part 2 as a good man?

Not really. Since the ones you mentioned gave Naruto a depth which he lacked previously....Nagato especially. Previously he wanted to become Hokage 'cuz he wanted to get acknowledged and Hokage was supposed to be one of the most powerful ninja of all. But Nagato, Itachi and even Obito....gave a more deeper purpose for Naruto to become a Hokage. Something beyond acknowledgement. A true essence of an influential leader. Oro is....Oro XD Though he is wasted potential like all others....there's just no beating him XD

That's what I said I think the Akatsuki were kinda cardboard-like except for Itachi, Pain, and Tobi lol. (I don't actually like their characters. They just had the most background & story influence) I like Deidara, Kisame, and Konan better and wish Kishimoto had given them bigger roles & more background. As for Orochimaru being the best villain, I think it's because all the main villains share this boring-ass stoic silent personality and Orochimaru's playful sadism contrasts that. Plus snakes are just cool. XD He'll always be the original Naruto villain to me.

Konan definitely deserved a bigger role for herself. One hell of a character and her abilities weren't even explored :ermm: She'd have made an interesting main opponent. Though if that was the case....I'd have wished for her to be redeemed. About everything else....seconded! Playful sadism LOL XD

I think Konan was the only legit kunoichi shown to hold her own without any asspulls or aids from anyone.

Glad she was allowed her full potential instead of being side lined like the majority of the other female characters.

Yahagi left after Sasuke awakened his MS

And nope Kabuto was a good counter to Naruto, he should've remained a villain. His appearance as an enemy in part 1 was probably one of the few times Naruto didn't fought with a Talk no Jutsu in mind, he just went and threw a Rasengan at Kabuto stomach.

Now think of Kabuto as a real threat, not a fake person who is mind raped in his first ral fight by some lame genjutsu, and think of how his confrontation with Naruto would be?

The spin off could be about Naruto's first big challenge in his years as hokage showing Kabuto as a villain in a way reminscent from Orochimaru 's first appearances

In terms of Naruto's status, Hiruzen probably kept his birthright hidden partly because he didn't want Naruto growing up with a big head and partly because he knew there were many people, both foreign AND domestic, would who seek to either eliminate Naruto or seek to use Naruto for his status. Basically, many people in the village who would kiss his ass, like they probably did with Sasuke after the massacre, in order to gain "favor" with Naruto, or use him like some figurehead type for their own intentions (for those who know of it, think of the child emperor in Akame ga Kill! who is used by the Prime Minister). With his Jinchuriki status, Hiruzen was clearly naive in his belief in the "goodness" of people, but as many fanfics have brought up, it was also probably made public as a message to deter other villages from considering trying to attack Konoha since it was weakened with its losses from the attack itself coupled with those over the years (Orochimaru betraying Konoha, Tsunade ditching it, Jiraiya constantly absent for his duties, and so on)

In terms of Jiraiya, it's much more the way he tried to train Naruto that irked me. As brought up, it's understandable that he ACTUALLY had an important job that required him to be absent (unlike a certain someone). It's primarily due to the fact that he focused so heavily on Naruto relying on using Kurama's chakra even though, from spying on the Akatsuki, he knew one of their goals was collecting the Biju/Jinchuriki and should've been able to deduce from what members he knew were part of it that the members were set up specifically to combat such opponents. Having Naruto completely rely on Kurama's chakra and little to nothing else would be playing right to their advantage rather than in Naruto's favor. That's not to say that Naruto should not have learned to use it at all, but he should have been taught a whole lot more than that in various other areas, especially during the time skip. You would think Jiraiya would have done so especially after his bad encounter with unlocking more of Kurama's chakra for Naruto to use, only for Naruto to go four-tailed berserker and nearly killing him, thus making him realize that Naruto relying on Kurama's chakra was not only going to handicap him against fighting Akatsuki, but was also just plain too dangerous to Naruto himself and everyone else around him.

That was why I was actually excited when, after the four-tailed incident at the bridge, Naruto proclaimed that he would get stronger using his own power, and half-created the Rasenshuriken...and then things went downhill.

Naruto is foreshadowed to use the power Kyubi.
It should not stop him to learn other thing tought.

Hmmm....now that you put it that way.....a spin off villain like you say...could've worked!

He really would be a difficult one to counter for the likes of Naruto. Kabuto mostly comes into Itachi type category and people like these can easily read through the moves of people like Naruto types. He really would make a worthy opponent like you say. It'd be amazing to see him as a main villain!

She held up against probably one of the most strongest Uchihas ever. She even managed to wound him to a degree that even Minato was incapable of.

I'd say she did well considering Kishi's track record with the Kunoichis.

She was a worthy opponent too. Worth breaking a sweat. No asspulls....no gifts...nothing. Just her pure talent.

And based on that....she pushed Obito to his maximum. If it wasn't for that damned Izanagi...Obito would be dead by now. In this series, she was born with just a single flaw and it was not her mistake. She was born a girl :zaru: I need not say how Kishi treats all the badass women in this manga
