Well, he talks to the point cutting out all the things 'he deems' unnecessary. That one point surely is the one which he finds necessary. You ask him valid questions and he just may go beyond one lines but I find that quite...difficult! From the looks of it, he doesn't want to open up or just share as little information as possible. He wants to keep things light and easy. It's not that he doesn't want to get involved. He surely wants to....but not upto a level that he'd reveal his personal information and deep stuff. That's why he keeps most of the things under wraps. If he doesn't want to open up, maybe respecting his decision is a good idea? We shouldn't force him. His past wounds are seemingly having a significant effect on him...

But when the time comes, I am sure he'll help them however he can He belives in 'Actions speak louder than words' which is why he won't ever tell you he cares for you but instead, if he does fancy you, he'd prove that through his actions

I would be glad too. My mother disagreed when I wanted to enter psychology since she doesn't know ho to help me after I graduation
