It's just strange...that we don't get any of the main couples interacting with each other. But nope still not getting my hopes up. I refuse.

Guys please please don't fall for this crap. If you have to watch the movie just watch a bootleg version of it. Don't pay any money to see it. Don't support this man anymore. Perhaps, but only by giving them a pairing without any moments besides a rotten family. 

 

SS got trolled by Sasuke abandoning them all together. Big surprise really considering that even in the chapters leading up to the end he repeatedly stated that he didn't feel anything for her.Still ticks me off though.

 

But NS still got the brunt of it, 693 chapters of beautiful romance, evidence, and parallels tossed down the crapper. Naruto the Hero accomplishes empty victories at best and fails at most of his aspirations. 

 

And for Sakura it is the worst. Forever abandoned by the guy who made her miserable and treated her like crap. Forever hated by the fandom for the horrible sexist writing of her character and never reaching her potential of becoming the heroine of the story. And finally she will forever be known as Sasuke's toy which he tossed aside as soon as he got bored and left her to be a maid/single mother.

 

Now excuse me while I go tape a picture of Kishi's face to a punching bag. I hate SS so much.

Honestly I wish we got like an X-Men Days Of Future Past scenario that redid the ending into something that would make more sense and not this fan fiction ending we were given.

It's like Kishi made Naruto take the easy route because he himself took it as well

That is exactly how I've been feeling this whole time regarding Sakura's character in these last two chapters. Everything just felt so forced and out of character with the development she got throughout the war. It's like I stated earlier, Kishi is the real culprit behind this scheme, and I know great character development when I see it.

 

 

For example I had this scrapped story idea that could've become a 200 page book (but I could never figure out how to start it at the time), and this how it was:

 

 

The Main character (Ryuu) has a goal he wants to seek out a dragon, and no one believes he'll set out that goal. He's kinda like one of those  fun outgoing kids. At the same time Ryuu also got a passion for draw and has a responsibility for taking his little sister, Azuki whenever his parents aren't around.   

 

The female character (Grace) is among the crowd, but promised to help him due to loosing a bet. She likes to be a little dressy, quirky, and just loves to make challenges. She's also completely against being interested in anyone romantically. Grace also has a passion for music, and playing the guitar at the park. 

 

 

Ryuu first met Grace through an Ice cream challenge. Basically, Grace claimed that nobody could beat her, and he ended up challenging her to prove a point about being overconfidence. The end result was a tie and result in vomit. Of course they didn't officially introduce themselves until they saw each other in class. Once that happened they would always compete with one another through bets (for homework, checkers, chess, jinga,  who get the most in I spy, eating/drinking contest ,etc) and it through this bets they became best friends. Ryuu on the other hand would start developing feelings for her over time as they hanged out. 

 

Over the course of the story Ryuu discovers something about his goal through the main antagonist's introduction, and it changes him. However to avoid anyone from noticing he tries to do things that he'd do on a daily basis, but nothing worked. Even when it came to spending with his little sister Azuki. At first Grace doesn't pick up on is plus, until Ryuu missed out something that caused her realize something was up. When Grace found out Ryuu was keeping something from her, and showed a darker side of his character she'd never seen.  Grace tried to reason with him, but he refused. She wondered what happened, and why Ryuu suddenly change? 

 

I wasn't sure where to have taken the story from there, but at that point Grace would be concern about him, and wonder why feels worried about him. Then something would've put Ryuu on the verge of death, and she'd do whatever can to save him. When Ryuu woke up and saw how worried she was, and wondered why she's so worried about him. Her response would be romantic related on her end, and he'd promise once I finish everything...."  Grace'd say, "I know." 

 

 Once all the obstacles were completed, Ryuu came back to Grace and she scolded him for his injuries against the main antagonist, and gave him an affectionate hug and kiss for coming back alive.   

 

 

My point behind the story idea is that you see how Ryuu and Grace were in the beginning, and  as the story progresses they slowly start developing feelings for one another. Not only that, but initially Ryuu had a goal to find a dragon, and by the end he would've completed his goal of finding a dragon. The same thing could be said about Grace who didn't give a kitten about viewing boys romantically in the beginning, and by the end you see her become the exact opposite of who she was in the beginning of the story.   

 

 

 

 

Now bringing this back to the topic of NaruSaku, the development and the build up, and it ultimately got ignored by the end. That's like saying Grave (female lead from my story idea) developed feelings for Ryuu, but when he gets back she's like "Hey how'd it go... cool story." That by itself would be massive disgrace towards her character and the development i would've given her throughout the course of the story. Unfortunately Sakura didn't get the proper treatment that Grace got from my book idea.  It's like I said before none of this is Sakura's fault, it's clearly Kishi's cause he's one writing it. 

 

 

Also I came to a decision on what I'm gonna do with what I have relating to Naruto. 

 

 

I'm gonna finishing collecting the manga (Whatever I'm missing) up until Volume 71 because it ends with Kaguya's defeat and Team 7 escaping the other dimension with  Hogoromo saying Naruto, Sasuke and Everyone thank you for saving the world. For me that's a good point to stop since it serves as an Open ending. 

 

 

I'll also be getting Road to Ninja, yes it's non canon, but that's also the closest thing for NaruSaku being canon in my eyes at least.

 

 

 

The Storm games I'm not gonna worry too much about since it's just a button mashing fighting game. Best I'll do is avoid the story mode. 

 

 

I will freely admit the ending to the manga was really lackluster which is why I'm not gonna buy Volume 72 (Final one).  As far as The Last Naruto The Movie goes, I'm gonna watch it just to see how Kishi's gonna attempt to make NaruHina and SasuSaku viable accepting (Which I highly doubt is gonna have the same caliber as these final two chapters)

 

The Part 3 mini series from what i've heard will be done by the person that wrote Blood Prison, not sure if that enough is true. if that's the case then that might a little interesting, but if that's the case I'll view the first chapter and see where it goes from there.

 

EXACTLY. The actual reason why we ship NS is not only due to the bench scene or whatever but the things they went through together. The grew up together in the process. The friendship between them developed and their relationship improves throughout the manga. The bond they shared is just so special.

 

Okay, let's say that we're actually delusional and it's true that Sakura has no feelings for Naruto up until now, she WOULD still take Naruto's feelings into consideration and not just ignore him and tell Sasuke that she would want to follow him in chapter 699. That is seriously OOC, considering how Sakura have grown from part 1 of the series to part 2. ABSOLUTELY OOC.

 

What's worse is that there are not even one interaction between them in the last two chapters, excluding the healing scene. What the heck is up with that? Yes, everything could happen off-panel but what? This is a manga and we have the right as readers to know what has happened between them even if it's not a shoujo. Not just a neglect of Naruto's feelings and a time-skip in the end of the manga. The loose ends are not tied, most of the things are not solved yet. We're not stupid enough to just follow what Kishi do. We have our own observations and theories. Kishi made it all seem like we're dumb.

 

And so that's why I don't blame Sakura because I know she's already matured and grown, and I blame Kishi for doing what he did to her. Even if he really was pressurized and fed up due to you-know-who.

I mean, there's no doubt in the 700th that we read, everything or rather all the parents don't even seem happy. People going to run out to see the movie with an ending like that? I mean if you were asking for fifty million dollars would you write a movie like that?

Not that there will be a part 3, but if there were, I think its a pretty safe bet to say that Bolt and Sarada would fall in love. In the end we just had to wait 1 generation and we finally got NS lol. Oh well, life goes on : )

 

Whoops, just read, there will be a part 3, I guess we will get that sweet Bolt Sarada shipping. Its too bad, BS doesn't sound as good as NS hahahaa.

This post is EVERYTHING and I agree with everything. Seems like this ending is not receiving praise by many people in the Naruto fandom. Especially those who don't give two squats about ships.

I guess what killed me the most about these "canon" chapters is the fact that Naruto and Sakura failed to interact with each other outside of Naruto's final Sakura-Chan

Is there any possibility that kishi will write a new ending for Naruto down the years? Once the new project is over, anime is done. And Naruto is no longer in spotlight (no SJ demands, editors, SP).

 

Since it want take him that long to create two chapters!

 

Of course this goes that Kishi himself is not happy how the end turned out. But seeing Kishi's previous chapters and the ending, I think Kishi is not to happy eather. Otherwise he wouldn't have ruined Naruto. Not just NS but the whole story!
