Ino and Sakura are so cute~ It's like they've reversed roles from when they were kids in the real world. Sakura is now the one that protects Ino. c:
When I saw that scene it made me happy. Weird to see Ino acting that way, but the trust she put in Sakura to protect her was heartwarming. Like you said it was a reversed role of when they were kids in the real world. You can see the difference in their personalities when put in the protector role in the friendship just in that brief clip. Ino just took charge and it eventually started to bother Sakura as she slowly gained self-confidence that Ino was still seeing her as the pathetic little girl she rescued, not seeing her as someone that was her equal as a friend. Sakura's nature is more gentle and compassionate without needing to be the dominate one. She faces down the threat, then switches to kindness to the one that comes to her for help or protection. Then with a word of encouragement lets them reflect on their own.
Also, Sakura will definitely get a reality check by seeing Sasuke pay attention to other girls. It will make her realize that her feelings for Sasuke are pretty childish since it makes her look no better than those girls that surround him. And with Hinata down her throat about Naruto it will probably make her remember that her bond with Naruto is way more important than her childish crush on Sasuke.
Err, you're writing as if she reacted like the girls all over Sasuke, and as if all she'll be thinking about is Sasuke flirting with her.

Serriously, Sakura wasn't like that even back at the beginning of part 1 of the manga, remember? Her reaction was rather mild, and note the tense eyebrows even as she lightly blushes- it's not the genuine romantic blush we saw directed toward Naruto in the adaption of chapter 245 and 469. (or even the fangirly blushes she had about Sasuke in part 1). Her reaction is mixed with a tension even in that scene on her balcony.
Even in early part 1 Sakura didn't let her crush on Sasuke interfere with what her mission was- actually she was paying more attention to Naruto most the time even in early part 1, for some reason most people seem to forget this and just picture Sakura standing around squealing "Sasuke kun" all the time, and throw out Sasuke's insult to her "useless". When actually she got the team concept a far sight better than Sasuke and better than Naruto too. Sakura was the one always thinking of Naruto's welfare even in part 1.
Sasuke's stalking isn't going to have any effect on her duty and feelings toward Naruto. That just not her character, people forget this. And from the other Sasuke stalking image we saw, his behavior will begin to disturb her more as it goes along- as her inserts himself into moments she is interacting with Naruto. That Ichiraku scene we saw first definitely showed that reaction, and the promo drawing the head animator Nishio, did for Lawson snacks reflects that too- heck in that one she looks like she wants to hide behind Naruto from Sasuke.
Look at the street scene with the glare she was directing toward Sasuke when she was with Naruto and Chouji. Doesn't look like she's in the least feeling anything positive about him there. Sasuke's expression looked smirky and arrogant both at the street scene and on the balcony. (knew he was a playboy)
Sasuke, like Hinata is just meant to keep Naruto and Sakura seperated from each other. Neither will work. Naruto outright is repulsed by Hinata, and Sakura might feel a bit flattered but it also bothers her on a level, and it won't have any effect on what she needs to do or her desire to stay close to Naruto, nor her feelings for Naruto. It never has, even back in early part 1. I can tell Kishimoto is showing people that in this movie as well. The Sasuke stuff is as much a red herring as the Hinata stuff, it's just the beginning dynamics are different for Naruto and Sakura. Naruto is not burdened by any remnant of past feelings for Hinata, Sakura is burdened (and in the current manga storyline is ashamed and depressed over having even those remnant of memory of feelings- it makes her feel like she's a bad person and failed Naruto.)
Don't know where people are getting the idea that Sakura is going to just be all swoony over Sasuke and not think of Naruto at all when the clips have made it obvious she won't be like that at all. Remember how abjectly miserable she looks at the Hokage mountain scene. She wants to get out of this place desperately but will suffer abject misery if it means Naruto is happy.
Yet what I'm seeing from a number of the comments is that "Sakura is just a clueless fangirl over Sasuke and someone else will have to administer her a clue-by-four to get her to care about Naruto's welfare at all."
What in all of creation would lead you all to think that when everything in the manga, and in this movie even shows you that the stuff she's dealing with Sasuke is a minor point at most. Her entire focus is on Naruto and his welfare. We've already been told the Sasuke and Hinata stuff is just fanservice, not an actual plotline element. The plotline is Naruto and Sakura end up in this genjutsu world. Sakura is wanting out of this trap really bad but Naruto is tempted by having that parental love and interactions he's longed for, so she's conflicted for his sake. Nothing in this genjutsu world has any hold on her at all. She's just miserable and knows she's in a trap and wants to get Naruto and herself free of it. The interactions Naruto and Sakura with their parents are the key plot point, then with their altered friends. Team 10 looks to have a stronger role than Team 8 from the clips.
